Worst company ever. I booked a car, drove long to their location. Simply, they said we are sold out!Never again, I book Hertz.

Reserved car in this location 2 weeks before for my move and when I arrived at the location, they said they don’t have an SUV.Please trust the reviews and don’t waste your time.They didn’t even bother to notify in advance until I went to pick up. I had to go back to the airport and get a new car on double price

$50 Uber ride to this location and they didn’t even have a vehicle. Do not recommend. $100 Uber round trip wasted because of a simple booking error that could be avoided. Will never use Hertz again.

Do not come here for the love of God! Wish I had read these reviews first. I’ve been charged well over $500 now and I have no vehicle to drive and am getting an Uber. After two separate charges because they don’t “take my Apple Card” they then demand a $500 deposit, after she charges the second card. I had prepaid for this car online! Now I have to wait 7-10 business days for a refund. They seem incapable of basic tasks such as printing or emailing a record of transactions and refunds. Zero customer service. Do not come here. ?I would have spent less for a car that costs more, with a lot less hassle.

This is the only time I've ever felt compelled to leave an overwhelmingly positive review for a rental car place, but it's very much warranted in this case. When I arrived at this location to pick up my rental car and started having unforeseen issues with my credit cards, Inez went way above and beyond to make sure I could keep the reservation. She worked with me past closing time to line things up, and because of her patience and understanding, a much-needed road trip proceeded as planned, and of course the charges were paid for in time. Thanks Inez!!

Do yourself a favor and cancel your reservation. I reserved a car because of the great deal from this location. After reserving I mapped where the location is and read the reviews on Google. I was hoping the reviews weren't true but yes, they are very true. I arrived at Hertz and there were 14 people ahead of me who were waiting for a car. They were waiting for cars to come in one at a time. Most canceled their reservation like I did but there were a few people who stuck around hoping that a car would be available. Never again. You have been warned.

When I arrived at this location to pick up my car that was reserved, there were a lot of unhappy people in line and in the lobby. The office manager was telling everyone that there were no cars available. I was put in the 8th spot on the list, with the hopes that more cars would be returned before the location closed at noon. The staff told me I could contact customer service to see if there was a car at the nearby SeaTac airport location, if I had a way to get there. There was - but because it would be a new reservation and it was from the airport, the cost was more than 3 times my reservation rate. They would not honor my reservation.I had booked my reservation the day before, directly through the Hertz website, not through a 3rd party like Expedia, Travelocity, or Kayak. I chose this location, because other locations closer to me did not have cars available. Why the company's website allowed me to book when there was no availability is hard to comprehend.Given that I was 8th on the list, and that I saw others leave without putting their names on the list to wait for a car, this was not a one-off error. It seemed as if some bookings were months old, some, like mine were recent. Some were booked through 3rd party agencies, others directly through Hertz. And we all ended up in the same place, without a way to drive away with a car that we had reserved.The manager was pleasant and apologetic; she had a tough job today with so many unhappy people in her lobby and with nothing she could do about reservations she could not honor. Hertz customer support did nothing to support their customers or their staff.My disappointment and frustration in this experience means that Hertz has lost a customer. And I bet I am not the only one today.

I strongly advise against renting a car here. I don't believe this is a reputable and reliable car rental company. Have they received proper training? This car rental experience has been extremely terrible! My complaint is currently in progress, and this week I haven't received any positive responses. If they don't provide me with a satisfactory response, I will file a complaint with the law enforcement agencies in the United States. In order to rent a Tesla, we took a taxi to this rental location, but we didn't receive the car we had booked in advance. The electric car we eventually got still has issues!

My first 1 star review ever.Made reservation & was told they’ve no car after we arrived to the office. They said they turned away 25 customers who made reservations just that day & did not bother to call us before we came to let us know not to come.If you need a car & have important plans, I don’t recommend Hertz.Enterprise who is nearby took care of us well. They’re very professional & have amazing customer service!

DO NOT RENT there. Unfortunately there is no 0 stars rating. Left with a 80 dollar Uber bill and NO car!!! It was the worst experience we ever had with a rental. When we arrived there we were told we are on a wait list #30, with an existing reservation!!! There were NO cars at all and it even being on a waitlist (which was on a handwritten piece of paper with numbers on it). We were told we need to call the support number being to be helped which is ridiculous standing in front of a counter. We called, then we were told they cannot help us we need to check with the staff at the counter. Worst customer service ever. We were not called or reservation was not cancelled which could be expected when having a reservation and they do not have a car. This would be the least they could have done, instead they told everyone that this is a cooperate problem and they can’t do anything. Safe your time, money and mood and DO NOT bother to go there. Rent somewhere else.

Fucking unbelievable. Go to pick up our reserved car and are told "you are number 21 in line. There are no cars to pick up. The people ahead of you have been here for 3 hours waiting for their rentals." DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Do NOT rent from here!!! They are understaffed, poorly managed, and entirely DISHONEST. I feel as though I have been SCAMMED. I have put in hours of my time making phone calls and sending emails to get the situation corrected, and nothing has been resolved. Hertz either will not contact me or simply won't help.In short, first we were given a filthy car. It had not been washed on the outside nor cleaned on the inside. They would not let us have a different car. When we asked for compensation for our disgusting car, at first the employee tried to 'comp' us with a free additional driver, but because we were AAA, the additional driver was already free. (Dishonest!!!) After that, he said he could not offer any other monetary compensation and his only solution was to go clean the car. We did not have time to wait 1-2 hours for him to do this. He gave us the phone number to complain, which we called but got no help, only another phone number. Calling the second number, once again, no help. When we returned the car, we tried asking again for a solution to the problem that had taken up so much of our time already. The woman appeared to start to help us, but she could not fully fix the problem then and there. She gave me a phone number to call her later, but it did not work. And she had promised to call me with an update herself, but she never did! She originally charged me $132 by accident, but after 3 days, she removed it (thankfully). However, days later, she charged me an additional $72.70 to my credit card for no reason—nothing was communicated to me what this charge was for—and it has still not been removed.Save yourself a headache and boycott this location (and maybe even Hertz in general) at all costs!!!! What started out as a small issue that could have been easily corrected turned into a dumpster fire that I am still trying to put out!!!! ENFURIATED!

Extremely frustrating experience…would give zero stars…arrived and there were no cars available. There was another family with a small child ahead of us. Waited for about an hour and 3 cars arrived. Was then told that the other two cars had “mechanical” issues and could not be rented. When asked what the issues were, he said both cars had been out for a month and needed oil changes. Which I find very unlikely and felt like he just wanted to go home for the day. Fine I said, could I come back tomorrow? No he had no idea when they would be ready. Ok, could he call the Seattle airport location and help me get a car. No, best he would do was give me their customer service number. So I’m stuck without a car and forced to find another on my own. I’ve been a Hertz Gold Member in the past, but this experience will make me think twice about ever using them again.

Inez and Richard did a great job of going the extra mile to make us happy when the car we had reserved wasn’t available (previous renters hadn’t brought it back yet, not the fault of Hertz). They were both friendly and helpful and very responsive to our problem. Problem solved, happy customers.

Made a reservation for an EV 3 months in advance. They did not have one. However, they did honor the price for a regular sedan that worked for me. I showed up on a saturday about 5 minutes after opening, and there was a shortage of vehicles at this location. My recommendation is to pick up your reservation immediately at opening or go elsewhere. I feel I was lucky. There were many customers behind me who were less fortunate that day, reservation or not.
