When my husband and I first found Nadine via an online review and google search, we thought she would be a perfect fit for us and and our dog, Piper. We both work in medicine, with long hours and ever changing schedules. Nadine is based in Queen Anne, which is where we are living and thought this a huge plus. We also travel at least one weekend a month, for business and pleasure, and were looking for someone to offer doggy daycare and pet sitting services.While we knew Nadine was on the more expensive side, after working with her for a short week, I have to say her prices are outrageous and she is totally ripping people off. We were quoted a price of 100$ a day boarding fee for our dog, Piper, to stay in her home. We were expecting a bill of 400$ for the four day week, and were shocked at our near 650$ bill.When I approached Nadine over the phone about the extra charges, she said that in additional to the 100$ a day boarding fee, she was charging a minimum of 40$ extra for “daily pack walks.” She became very defensive when I told her that she never explicitly explained this extra cost to us and said “pricing is on my website and I emailed the quotes to your husband.”On the bill was an extra 35$ “intro walk fee” to walk Piper with her dog. We were told we would not be charged for this first intro walk, and she did not honor that promise.When I asked Nadine if it would be possible to do the at home boarding without the daily pack walks she said No, and was not willing to work at all with me on pricing. When I told her that my husband and I are both physicians and even we cannot afford her prices, her reply was “yeah, this is Seattle and it is expensive.”I did pay her the full 600ish balance because I felt that was the right thing to do.We have since found several other dog walkers and pet sitters that offer similar services that are much more reasonably priced, more flexible and accommodating. I would never recommend Nadine- she is outrageously expensive and completely inflexible. She is not a good business owner.

Nadine is the most caring, reliable and sweetest with our 2-year-old chocolate lab, Baker. She has been helping us with her since she was an 8-week-old puppy. She creates a safe environment for Baker to play with other dogs and to get her endless energy out. She is flexible and accommodating with schedules and takes the best pictures and videos each pack walk. Nadine also has great tips and advice and helped train our dog to be a better walker without us ever asking. Baker loves her and so do we!!

Our family has used Nadine's dog walking services for over 6 years now, and she has become such an important part of our dog's life. From the first time we met her to do a consultation, she was very professional, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. She's helped our dog work through a lot of training needs, such as loose leash walking, socialization (our dog was super shy as a puppy), and more.Our dog goes wild with excitement whenever she hears Nadine's truck approach, and is always happy, tired, and calm when she returns from her pack walks.Nadine also coordinates and configure special dog pack walks according to dog temperament and needs, and we've always found the pack walks and dog socialization such an important part of our dog's experience with Nadine.We can't recommend her enough to anyone looking for a dog walker who will care for their dog as if part of the family. We love being part of the Haven's Hound family. ❤️?

Nadine and Haven's Hounds are simply the best! I met Nadine during 2020 when I had a new puppy at home and was looking for opportunities to socialize and exercise my pup. And Nadine quickly became an integral part of our week. My pup Harper would hear the truck coming and knew it was time for her pack walks with Nadine and her furry friends. An fulfilled, happy girl would return...usually with some final zoomies to show me how much fun she had on her pack. When we added a new pup to our pack at home, Nadine was gracious to begin walks with both Harper & Baker. We loved seeing all the photo updates on the Haven's Hounds Facebook page. Although we've recently moved away, we fondly remember their time with Haven's Hounds and wish we could replicate Nadine in our new town!

Nadine has been the most caring, reliable, and positive dog walker for which my family could have wished (a sort of Mary Poppins for pooches). Nadine has taken our dog for his midday walks for five years. In all that time, I don't remember her ever missing a planned walk except for extreme smoke/snow.Nadine regularly posts cute pictures of the dogs on Facebook, and in non-covid times she keeps a daily written log with the family.When we first moved to Seattle our plan was to put our dog in daycare, but he was rejected for wanting too much staff attention. We found Nadine and it was a perfect match -- he loves her and enjoys his walking companions! Nadine even taught him to "sit" like a champion -- people are always impressed when they offer him a treat.If you live in Queen Anne, Nadine is the dog walker for you.

Nadine Haven is the number one professional dog walker on Queen Anne. She offers hourly group walks and single walks, with other services.She has been walking my dog for about 5 years and I cannot say enough good things about her. She trains, teaches dogs to socialize, they go to safe areas for off leash fun, keeps all the pups safe, and most importantly- she loves them.Her Facebook page is updated with pictures and videos of all the fun. She has a sunny disposition and is more reliable than the postal service.Highly recommended!
