“Great place. So nice to have a solid hardware store in the neighborhood, and a local alternative to Home Depot and Lowes. I'm visually-impaired, and dropped in to see if they had garbage cans for my apartment. A clerk approached me right away, showed me where they are, and explained the options. So, so helpful. I noticed they have everything from specialty hardware and fixtures to basic kitchen utensils. Again, so glad this store exists. I'm going to be a regular.”

“My name is Nancy Niesel and I want to let you know I had the best experience yesterday with your salesman Sean . He tried so hard to find the part for my toilet without any luck and he told me if I called the company they may send it to me sooner than he thought he could receive. I had to call twice as the first time after waiting 8 minutes I was disconnected and then when I called the second time after 15 minutes they were able to tell me they would overnite the part. I did purchase your sewer cleaning by his recommendation and am very pleased with the product. Thanks for everything. Sean is a great employee to have and hope you appreciate him as I did for his service. Nancy”
“I think these guys are AWESOME!! We switched to these guys when another company messed up on a few things a couple time that ended up costing us time. And we all know what time is. Anyway, They had what we needed when we needed it so as I waited for the price I was thinking it was gonna cost a lot more. They basically knew they had us in a pinch. So you can imagine I was pretty blown away when it come out to over 350.00 LESS than I've been paying. They deliver on time and there just isn't any issues. The lifts are nice and safe and the people are probably safe but I know for sure they're nice!! I can't find one thing they haven't done better than every other company!!!! If I find something I'll be sure to let you know! In the mean time, KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK STAR RENTALS!! Oh and I couldn't help but notice the 1 star reviews. That really surprised me so I read as long as I could but had to stop cuz I hate being remind how st**id people are. Dude, do you know the actual trip to drop off whatever your renting isn't what cost the rental company all the time and $$$. SAFETY IS WHATS COSTING YOU SO MUCH Genius! It takes them a very long time to get all the chains out, get the trailer ready to accept the ---- (fill in the blank). Then they gotta chain that huge s***** down so when your bad driving nearly causes an accident that thing doesn't move an inch. Then they gotta do the opposite when they get to you. Oh wait, GUESS WHAT, now they gotta get it back so guess what they gotta do now?? Do I really need to type it all out again?? Probably but, we're gonna let you use your imagination. Anyway, the actual trip is the easy part cuz they've already planned for everything so they can deliver your equipment without even causing a scratch to anything!! That's impressive! “We have an irrigation service company and depend on our air compressors working every autumn to blow out systems. Ben's has been exceptional in their service over the years. I had a pull cord snap on me, I went to Ben's, and I was in and out in 30 minutes and charged a ridiculously low amount of money. Solid good people at the front desk and in the service bay. This is what America used to be like. Hard working good people. Thank you Ben's.”

“I LOVE their cleaning products, specifically the TRIO! I clean my entire house with them. Including the floors. Everything always suprises me with how well they work! They get my counters & windows shiney & my floors smelling good and removing ANY stain. I have 2 Bulldogs so having product that help with their messes and doggie smells is amazing. I never ever buy cleaner anywhere else. The gallon sizes make it so I don't have to ?”
“Go to a big box store if you want cheap materials and nonexistent customer service. Come to Stewart if you want quality merchandise competitively priced, with exceptional customer service from knowledgeable staff who quietly, consistently get the repeat business from the pros that know. There are only a few legacy lumber yards in Seattle, Stewart has been around for as long as they have because they do it all correctly. Thanks you guys, I have had several successful jobs with Stewart Lumber's help.”

“After reading other reviews I felt obligated to post. I actually send a note privately to the President (and got a response within a few hours), just to share the great service I had. I've been shopping at the Shoreline location for my bigger home project needs for years and have had nothing but good experiences. The sales people were incredibly knowledgeable, shared a few options on lumber, quickly gave me the options on the decking and even instantly knew which screws would be a color match. My special order decking was and and scheduled in less than a week - A+ customer service from everyone during the process.”

I have since visited the store at least 6 times and now have always had 5 star service. I am happy to say that since it is a staple in the UDistrict and my go to hardware store. The current management and staff do an excellent job in a challenging store and location. I commend them on the changes made since I first started visiting, and I am happy to now review them in a positive light!”

The team was super helpful, I needed a unique temporary fix to get water from my sink to a hose and fast! They came up with a genius solution and it worked great!! I will be using them all the time! “I love this store! It's a true blue old school hardware store that almost always has what I need as a fix it myself homeowner and gardener. Great tools, supplies, plus the more fun necessities in all housewares every season including specialty items. You could stock your whole kitchen with quality things from here plus have great gifts and kid's stuff too. The staff is totally accessible and knowledgeable and nice and I can be in and out fast. I go several times a month and can avoid all the big stores that take too much time and are harder to navigate and often disorganized. I highly recommend trying our small stores first and this one is exemplary. Plus it smells like a real hardware store and just opening the door is a pleasure to my senses. Long live tradition that is high functioning and prices are no more than the big stores, and often less. 5 stars and this review is long overdue for how much I love it. Going there now for 2" nails, a garden tarp, bathroom cleaning wipes, laundry soap, a new teapot, and to return some electrical supplies that I ended up not needing.”
