Hansen Bros. is amazing!!!!! They are professional, detail oriented and caring. I never flt rushed, all my things were intact and they came on time! I had eft my things in their storage for 16 years and everything was just as I had left it!!! They have been a pleasure to do business with!!!!

David Albaugh has been instrumental in my move from the US back to Australia in 2023. Thru him and his team, they managed to successfully stored my apartment contents for safekeeping until such time it's ready to be shipped back to Australia. Through his guidance, all my ~27 boxes has been received without damage and in good condition.
I guess one of the defining qualities that makes a best mover is how they would keep an open line of communication, specially during the time that your items are in transit. Hansen Bros. did just that. They have advised me of the transit times how long it will take, specially just when the world is coming out of post-COVID, and all the ports are working overtime to get all the shipments moving in and out.
Thank you again Hansen Bros. Moving & Storage for storing my items, and moving it across the ocean!

Moving is never fun. Especially an out of state move. While Hansen Bros. didn't make it fun, they did make it easier. The communication before, during and after was excellent. Their crews were organized, respectful and just good people. Sadly, there was damage beyond repair to a dresser. It wasn't the most expensive dresser in the World, but it wasn't the cheapest either. We submitted a claim and that claim was paid in a timely manner. It was great customer service and a good overall experience.

I will give Hansen Bros. 2 Stars because our belongings actually made it from Seattle to Idaho. If you are reading this review, I would move on to the next moving company and save time. You can thank me in advance. I you are still reading here is what I've learned about Hansen Bros and Allied Moving. 1. Most expensive of 4 quotes, over 20K for a 5 bedroom house to move 750 miles (Seattle to Boise). This brakes down to about $1/lb per their estimation. 2. They were unable to fully move us on the day the contract stated. They needed a second day. Minimal apologies. We were scheduled to move the following day and had to reschedule flights for a family of 5 as a result because of their miscalculations. 3. I had them pack expensive artwork only to see a piece lying flat on the garage floor and then watch a mover step directly on top of it. WTF? Had to open it up to inspect and then repack it. 4. I was told they would dissemble my kids bunk beds. NO - They asked me to do this. 5. They needed tools throughout the day and did not have any and had to use mine. 6. They do not shrink wrap items rather they like to use a strong brown packing tape to hold things together. I now have the joy of trying to get tape residue off nearly every item of furniture that they put tape on. FFS! 7. They "helped" pack some of our belongings in wardrobe boxes. - BIG MISTAKE. Everything was basically tossed in, unwrapped and most of it damaged or broken upon arrival. 8. Hansen Brothers uses Allied Moving for cross country shipping. What I did not know was that once items left my home, they would be further taken apart to fit into a big rig. BBQs, Kids play houses, patio heaters, etc.... If it can be taken apart it will be. AND....THEY WILL NOT PUT IT BACK TOGETHER. Now I have the joy of reassembling everything without manuals. Oh, and those bunk beds I took apart that they were going to take apart and set up, nope, I am setting those up too. Sectionals, Im reassembling. Pieces are not even placed next to each other. So frustrating. 9. Once the items arrived in Boise the movers were unprepared to wear shoe booties and place adequate runners on brand new white carpeting. Upon request they placed floor tape over 75% of the areas they walked and used hand trucks on. No shoe booties. 10. They are movers. WTF did I pay for the most expensive company thinking I was going to get something exceptional. Instead I got got.

Very professional, courteous, and hard working. They took extra time to make sure our belongings were well-packed and taken care of. We worked with Brad from sales and he was so responsive and helpful and assisted us with multiple reschedules of our move date due to builder delays. I would highly recommend Hansen Bros. Moving & Storage!

Recent experience with Hansen Bros. Moving & Storage: Crew arrived on-time, went through the house to understand items to be moved, wrapped all items, packed efficiently and quickly then got on the road to the move destination where all items were quickly, yet carefully, unloaded and placed where needed. Friendly crew, G. Wood and T. Guerra, were great to work with. Pre-move assistance was also excellent. Appreciate all the help.

We asked Hanson Bros. Moving to move only several furnitures within 4 mile(Oct. '22). Friendly people showed up on time and did quick job with reasonable price. Highly recommend this company!

Our Hansen Bros. move was a great experience (and after 16 household moves over 35 years, we know moving isn't always a great experience). Paula was very helpful in helping us value engineer our overall move which was greatly appreciated. On loading day, the six-man crew was very friendly and courteous. On move-in day, the same six-man crew was equally professional. We had a couple of pieces that we consider to be beasts to move, and the crew faced the challenge, problem-solved, and got both pieces situated as we had hoped. I would certainly recommend Hansen Bros. for a semi-local move!

We used Hansen Brothers for storage during our remodel. They were professional, reliable and courteous. If we need to move our furniture in the the future we will definitely use Hanse Brothers again.
