I called and ordered glass beading insulation strip for a window. I had to pay a HIGH postage to have it send because it is 72 inches in length. The box arrived and it was a small box that GRAINGER had folded the 72 in strip into about 6 pieces. It bent the plastic so it was not usable. I called GRAINGER back and explained and was told that they would send out another length of the vinyl in the right size box. The new box came quickly - it was the same size as the first box and who ever packed it this time cut vinyl strip in half and then bent it into four pieces. Still unusable. I called and GRAINGER told me they would give me a credit. So I now have two vinyl strips I cant use and of the $45 of shipping and cost of the vinyl strip they are giving back $2.

I was in and ordered a piece that was not in the Tukwila WA store, but was in CA. The cost o the item was about $50, but to have it shipped from CA was $46. The clerk advised me I could either travel the 100+ miles round trip; or pay to have it shipped to my house. No other options were given and it was a take it or leave it proposition. Afterwards I got a survey from Grainger and filled it out, mentioning the ridiculous fact that it cost as much to ship as the it was even though it was a small lightweight rack. I got a very curt response from a manager who only was interested in explaining the shippers fees. I mentioned that I could ha picked the item up shipping free at a location 1/2 as far from my house if the clerk had given me that option. The only response I got was that I was correct. Also if Grainger ships for free within its system why didn't they ship to the nearest store free then ship to my house for a few. No offer to reduce my bill was given; just crap about too bad for me! Wouldn't have been so bad if they didn't tout their custOmer service. lousy uncaring business!

Wonderful customer service. We really appreciated this store and the friendly helpful employees. We bought an item that ended up needing to be returned. When we arrived there was a local outage because a vehicle had taken out a power pole and Internet was down impacting many businesses in the area.The employee at the store took our item and then promptly processed the return after the service was restored. This saved us a return trip to the store and a lot of frustration.Excellent store with awesome selection snd service that is above and beyond. Thank you !!

This place is a joke , rude and disrespectful employees, they will keep loosing costumers12/15/2022 at 8;17 am I went there to pick up my order that I placed day before, lady was having hard time finding it and she started to get angry and was really rude and disrespectful, somebody didn't do their job and paying costumers get disrespected,They lost a costumers! Even in this day and age word of mouth means alot.So do yourself a favor and stay away from these clowns

Easy location lots of parking good hours and the nicest staff let's start with the staff I was helped with a return today on some wheelchairs from dan and Luke super nice guys they help me unload it from my work vehicle I went in I looked around there's a lot of variety of stuff I was impressed with the reasonable low prices and above impressed With the awesome customer service and patience I had by the two employees Luke and Dan thanks guys

Been trying to find a ballast for a couple weeks and seemed to be getting nowhere until I called Grainger. They have excellent product knowledge, a great customer service philosophy, and were able to take care of me in about 20-minutes - Eric on the tech-side was very helpful, so thank you and now I can finally check this "to-do" off my list!
