My 6-7 year old Dell laptop would not power up, at all, suddenly, and none of the numerous online advice or recommended remedial steps were of any use. The guy at GoEBITS on the Ave listened carefully to my description, asked questions, made no promises, took my laptop and charged me the diagnostic fee. He said they’d get back to me within two days - which they did. Fairly extensive corrosion: cleaning and soldering after repowering through a secondary source; all data preserved. About $200 worth of work - inexpensive for a big headache. Thanks, fellas.

James and his team were super helpful and friendly! I took my PC in with a broken hinge and they were able to repair within an hour for a really reasonable price, and even cleaned the laptop. It saved me so much trouble, I highly recommend!

I have never talked to someone in the service industry who is this arrogant and aggressive. Incredibly unreasonable pricing, asks for a PAID diagnostic before actually doing anything to your device, and does not answer the questions that I have asked. 0/10 would never recommend.

Highly recommend GoEBITS for your challenging computer problems!! I had three hard drives over ten years old with huge files and critical data on them, and none of them were reading. Anxiously, I dropped them off with GoEBITS, and for three days they diligently and carefully worked on them for hours. I could call them and someone would always answer the phone and follow up with the technicians.Jesper, the owner, called me when some of the data was starting to appear, and kept me updated each day after that. Then, he called with the great news that they were able to save all the data in the drives and format it correctly. He was so happy and proud, and I was so relieved. He explained how to protect the information in the future and what to look out for to avoid problems. Everything about the experience was organized, prompt, and professional.I learned that Jesper has owned GoEBITS for twenty years, and they work with UW, Fred Hutch, and major local businesses for their computer problems. Will definitely go to them in the future for any other computer issues and recommending them to friends and family!

I’ve owned kind of a lemon of a MacBook Pro for the last few years, and it needed repairs on at least a yearly basis. I either went to this store or to the Apple Store in UVillage. My experience: this store will get your laptop going, but they charge you more than the Apple Store for the same kind of repairs (if you have AppleCare+ at least,which is what I have). Also, the Apple Store seems to do a better job with their repairs: after I get my laptop back from the Apple Store, I noticed that they also fixed a bunch of unrelated issues (like my laptop blanking out whenever I play Civ 6). I haven’t seen that with GoEbits. So, lesson: get better repairs and better prices and go to the Apple Store instead.

It was great to find a place that works on Apple products that are obsolete to Apple but still work just fine. In my case though, I do have a 13 yr old laptop that died and Apple wouldn't help. I had pictures from two big family events on it and some old family recipes. GoEBITS was able to recover the entire hard drive, yay!!!

We took my son’s computer in to have the screen replaced on January 6th. They said it would be done over the weekend. After a week I called for an update and they said it still wasn’t done. Called again a week later and they said the part was back ordered. I understand that they can’t help the back order but why could they not communicate with us themselves. Finally they called January 30th to say it was done so I took the morning off of work to go pick it up. Got there at 10am and it was locked up still. They did not get there until 10:36. I know I sound like I’m being a Karen, but I feel this is highly unacceptable and unprofessional. I do have to say that they did a nice job repairing the computer and they even cleaned it for him.

Small, but extremely helpful staff. Very willing to go above and beyond to truly help customers. It's rare to find businesses that actually care more about their customers than they do the almighty dollar. Support shops like this and keep them around. If you don't, you'll be left with giant corps that don't really need you.

Except for often long waits on hold, due to so many clients coming into the shop (ok, not a problem) and the time it takes for staff to call back, I give this company a 5* ... the owner goes beyond the call of duty to make things right when things go wrong. And all electric products can fail. My hard drive they recently replaced is an example. After 5 months it went kaplunk... unusual... but the owner took my computer back and fixed it, even though the hard drive itself had a warranty for 3 months. That's what I call good service. Thank you, GoEBITS.
