DO NOT BUY. I was gifted a bouquet of flowers for decoration for my wedding rehearsal. All the hydrangeas were dead on on arrival and brown. I called, and the receptionist said she would replace the flowers with a new delivery, then 4 hours later I received another call where the person on the phone called me a liar & she refused to honor the delivery. The photo attached is how they arrived. Atrocious customer service & 0 concern for ruining my rehearsal dinner decorations.Update after Fran’s response: the flowers were delivered Saturday night after their close of business. I called to leave a voicemail, but their mailbox was full. They are closed Sundays. The soonest possible time I could call and actually speak to them was in fact 2 days later. I called first thing on Monday morning as soon as they opened.Their response below is 100% indicative of the customer service you will receive. I personally believe that if they can’t deliver alive and not frozen flowers into an INDOOR environment as they correctly state below, they should not be selling flowers. I received stunning flowers from other vendors in the same weather with no issue. Buyer be aware - do not support this awful business and horrible business owner.

This is our neighborhood florist and they never disappoint. The owner is very good at what she does and has great taste in floral arrangements. Although we have ordered many arrangements over the years, recently we ordered a funeral wreath, last minute and it was so beautiful, I had to share.

I came in relatively last minute to pick up an arrangement for a friend who was putting their pet down today. The woman greeted me right away and asked what I was looking for. I explained the situation and she was very sympathetic. She showed me a large poster with many options and recommended an arrangement as well. I ended up choosing one myself and asked how quickly it could be made (since I came in so soon before my friends appointment). She said ten minutes, it was done in five. The flowers were extremely fresh and were going to open over the next few days. I spent $66 with tax included and I wish I had the option to tip with credit card because this arrangement was perfect. I so appreciate the quality of flowers you have as well as the ability to make any arrangement right away. Thank you for making a painful day a little brighter. I will be telling my friends of the amazing customer service, beautiful flowers, and to go here from now on. -Jenn at Saltwater Animal Hospital

Was looking for a special flower arrangement for our mother for her 91st birthday and Mother's Day. She absolutely loved them and we were asked by a couple at the restaurant where we had gotten them because they thought the arrangement was gorgeous.

This review is written on behalf of my mother, who received a stunning bouquet from a friend who ordered the flowers from Fran's Flowers. My mother was raving about the beauty of the flowers, how fragrant they were, the overall presentation, and the care instructions provided. She also wanted others to know how phenomenal the people at Fran's were. Mom stopped into the shop one day and was astonished to see all the lovely products on display. She was also taken in by the fact the staff in the shop were nice, accommodating, and truly understood the value of providing excellent customer service. Please, if you get a chance, definitely make sure to order a bouquet from Fran's Flowers!

Do not use this this company! I ordered for my daughter who was having Thanksgiving. They sent a cheapest bouquet with that does not look anything like what I ordered. I live in a different state so they probably thought I would never see it. It does not look anything look anything like I ordered from 1 800 flowers. Both company's should be ashamed of themselves taking advantage of seniors.

I was so disappointed in this local business that came recommended by my aunt. I ordered almost $400 worth of flowers for my Grandma's memorial. I had the flowers delivered to the reception the day prior and could not believe how inaccurate their website photos were compared to what was delivered. See images below of one example. The stock photo shown below is the example of "deluxe" which is more full than "standard". I can't even imagine how bad the standard version would be in real life. After the flowers arrived, I called Fran's to let them know the arrangements were unacceptable and needed to be replaced prior to the service or the price reduced. The shop has not even had the courtesy of calling me back four days later. You will be very let down if you order through this company. Their product is underwhelming as is their customer service. Go elsewhere!

I'm sure they do great work, however our experience was less than favorable. We requested an arrangement for a memorial via 1800 flowers, unfortunately the arrangement did not arrive for the service and a delivery confirmation was emailed confirming flowers were timely delivered. Over a week later the arrangement was found on the church step obviously having sat out in the poor weather conditions for a while. The arrangement was not the deluxe that was order based on the number of flower added. it appeared to be was fewer flowers spread out to given the elusion that it was full. I am giving 3 stars only because I did not go through them directly, but the card clearly had the correct date showing "Fran's Flowers" attached but was not delivered when requested and as hand written on the sticky note.

received a bouquet of assorted flowers last friday night the center flowers daisies were dead and the remaining flowers looked old by Sunday night I had to throw them out, this was a get well gift from my best friend. the last time months ago she used this shop and they delivered to the wrong address. I am very sad and hope to see her get a refund. Live with the new Wesley Gardens in Des Moines on 2 16th St. so I guess I'm fairly close to the shop but I hope their other better services in this town. Sincerely A Taylor
