“I am a transgender woman, so there are some extra things I look for in healthcare. After my first visit, which was 2 hours, I felt like I had made a new friend, a doctor friend who cares about my health and listens to my concerns. Dr. Johnson is very kind and personable and treated me with utmost respect. She is still learning about FTM transgender care, but she is 100% on board and supportive, and seems to really seem to want to get up to speed on everything for my best care.The small clinic felt more intimate rather than sitting in a huge lobby waiting with everyone else. My appointment was on time so I wasn't waiting a long time.One unexpectedly nice aspect was when I was done, I was just allowed to stay and rest after my blood draw, and I was free to go whenever. I didn't have to come by the front office to schedule my next appointment (I can do so from the app) or to pay anything (no copays.)I saw many of the 5-star reviews and wondered if there wasn't some "please rate us" incentive going on. I truly think that the service provided here is incentive enough to go and post a rating!”

“I've always had great experiences here. The last doctor I met with it I was pleasantly surprised. I hadn't met with anyone in a year or two and wasn't expecting much for a new doctor, but he was very professional and understanding and had some great recommendations for my health moving forward. I'm sad that I may not have coverage after May and have to look elsewhere. I've never had a doctor that I actually wanted to follow up with. Wait times to schedule an appointment on the phone arent the best, but if you use their mychart system, someone will be in contact with you. Even over chat.”

You just have to be patient with the process because they are swamped with work. There are a lot of folks that just can't afford to spend a lot of money on medical and dental bills. So, call and book an appointment on the phone, or just go there yourself and be done with it. Leave the preconceptions.”

“This clinic has provided great care to myself and my family. They have a diverse, compassionate and dedicated team. My doc is well versed on various conditions (I have several), including autoimmune diseases. I see stars removed due to support staff ie front desk challenges and I can say these are challenging positions to fill and maintain-especially at a non profit (low pay) with a diverse range of patients with various needs. This clinic constantly strives to improve service delivery and care. Over the 5 years I have been a patient- I have seen the positive changes and growth. I'm grateful to have such a clinic in my neighborhood!”
