I am new to the Seattle area and I work in Everett, and I love the central location of Eleanor to all of the best things Seattle has to offer. It is easy to get pretty much anywhere.
The apartments are very well maintained and super clean, and I’d say the same for all of the amenities. I especially love the multiple rooftops because you get an awesome view of Rainier, the Seattle skyline, and sunset over the Olympics with plenty of grills, seating, and fire pits.
The leasing office is very responsive and helpful. The maintenance team often times responds within an hour or two to fix things. I’ve moved around the country a lot and I can say it’s rare to find a team this good. I worked with Jeremy and he made my transition to Seattle so much easier!
I would definitely recommend living here to my friends!

Going on our sixth year living here at Eleanor Apartments. Like everyone else mentions— the location is great. Three grocery stores (more if you enjoy a longer jaunt) within walking distance, Roosevelt light rail station 2 blocks away, great food options, etc I could go on. Truly, every business I could ever need is within walking distance or within 15 minutes via the light rail including my doctor.
I believe we’ve seen a two management teams since we’ve lived here and both have been amazing. Super friendly staff including the maintenance team which, as someone who has rented for over a decade is a godsend. Amenities and common rooms are always very well kept + tons of space to host friends or family visiting you. Street parking can be challenging if you work a regular 9-5 gig but compared to other neighborhoods in Seattle parking here is a breeze.
Tenants aren’t the most engaging with other tenants but hey, c’est la vie. Lots of doggos in the buildings. The apartments have outstanding sound proofing between units. I never hear any outside noises in either unit I’ve lived in nor have I ever had any complaints about this place after six years and that’s pretty amazing. Very lucky we landed here back in 2019.

EDIT: This place has really gone downhill. They keep putting on community events like paint and sips or free pizza to try to make everyone happy, but they should just spend the money on functioning doors and elevators that don't beep because their emergency phone system is broken. 30% of the time, the doors in the building don't work and management just gaslits you any time you mention it. Everyone has resorted to either kicking in the door making it easier for thieves to do the same thing, or walking around the block to try a different door. Also, management targets random residents on policy enforcement. Certain people were threatened to remove door mats and items from their parking spots (which is against the lease agreement), but then other people have kept their stuff without any consequence. Lastly, management is extremely hostile now compared to previously being so kind and understanding. Their rent payment system failed to process my auto-pay a single month (I've paid on time in full every other month), and the very 1st notice I received threatened legal action.
Previous 5 star review:
Building management is super friendly and helpful. The building is kept very clean and the neighbors are super friendly. We couldn't ask for a better experience

I lived here for a little over 2 years and I absolutely loved it! The rooms feel modern, any issues I had were quickly resolved by maintenance, everyone I interacted with at the front desk was super helpful and kind (shout out to Noah for being awesome) and the gym is a lovely bonus.
The proximity to the light rail is fantastic, it's close enough to easily go anywhere, but far enough that it still feels safe.
Only real con is that street parking can be pretty rough at times. It's mostly all free for 2 hours, but spots can be pretty tight.

Preface: I’ve only lived here for 2 months so far, so I can’t speak on the renewal and move-out processes…
But for the time I’ve been living here, I’ve REALLY enjoyed it! The rooftop has a gorgeous view of Rainier. The facility is always clean. The leasing staff hold monthly events that make the community feel like… a community. Maintenance has been pretty quick and efficient. Location is perfect. Gym is decent. If rent doesn’t increase like crazy, I will most likely be renew here because it’s honestly great.

One of the worst customer service I've received by the leasing office. It was a disappointment living here at Eleanor and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. They had poor management and communication. Extra fees, you barely get your deposit back after all the fees add up even if you leave the place exactly how it was. My advice would be to not waste your time and look somewhere else. The only good thing about Eleanor was the location was prime.

I haven’t even been living in this apartment complex for a year and it has been the worst experience of my life. It is extremely overpriced and riddled with extra hidden fees. They cut corners to rob the tenant of square footage by using useless additions. The other tenants are extremely rude and the leasing staff is incompetent.

Have been living here for almost three years since the day moved to Seattle. It's a clean and nice apartment with a really convenient location.- 5 min-ish walking to Linkrail station, safeway, whole food and some other stores, as well as two pet clinics;- Good maintenance team: fixing things in time and quick response even during weekends/holidays; taking good care of public areas as well, like courtyard decking, landscaping, and snow/leaf cleaning for their front sidewalk/entrance etc.;- Good managing team: efficient communications through emails and notification posts, some good community activities like BBQ during summer time, gift wrapping station during winter holidays;- Architecturally speaking: unit layout is spatially efficient, great washer/dryer room with extra storage spaces in some units; great size of windows (almost from floor to ceiling), my unit faces south so great natural light and sunlight if you enjoy them;- Nearby street parking is limited so renting parking spot would be recommended.Definitely a good place to stay for long terms as long as the overall renting increase in Seattle is not becoming too crazy lol.

You cannot count on the leasing office for any help. Instead of helping you with an unexpected situation they’d tell you in a very nice way that it is your problem and we would do nothing. I won’t renew my contract this time.

Overall, Eleanor is located in a great area:- 3-5 minute walk to the Roosevelt Light Rail Station- 10-15 minute walk to Green Lake- 3-5 minute walk to the LA Fitness (if you don't want to workout in the fitness room in the apartment complex)- 3-5 minute walk to Whole Foods or a 10-15 minute walk to Safeway. The apartment units are equipped with an air conditioner, capable of heating and cooling. It has trash chutes that makes it easy to dispose of trash. Package delivery-wise, I have not seen or heard of someone's package being stolen, so that is good.Overall, the management is very responsive to getting things fixed. They try to do a couple of small community events every quarter to get the residents together so I appreciate what they do.

We had an issue with our in unit wash machine not draining. And we put in a maintenance request over the weekend and I was so impressed by how quickly they were able to come and resolve the issue. Thankfully it ended up being a simple fix. There was awesome communication with the maintenance worker (Ed) in terms of working with our availability to come when we were home. Extremely friendly and helpful especially in helping us understand what went wrong with the machine and offered some great advice on what we can do as best practices to avoid the issue in the future. We have not been in the building long but if this is a signpost of what the rest of our lease will look like. We are very excited for the next year!
