You can hear the people above you when they walk. In other words, the build quality is a bit low on this building.

Very painless move in process! The leasing staff are on top of everything and very helpful.

East Union is a great place to live; the leasing manager, Sashel, is incredible! She has helped so much and walked with me every step of the way when I applied for the MFTE program. This is a quiet building, very clean in the common spaces, and dog-friendly! I have been here since October this year and couldn't be happier. To top it off, it's above PCC, which is a plus!

I manifested this apartment back in 2022 when I first moved to Downtown Seattle . I wanted an apartment on a high floor with a roof top , big windows facing city lights ,easy access to Public transport, well secured building when it comes to my safety in the Center of Central District . The staff were very friendly and communicated with me throughout the whole process .

I had a tour scheduled (with a confirmation email) and was stood up by the leasing agent. When I arrived at the leasing office, all of the lights were off and all of the doors were locked. I called the phone number and could hear the phone inside ring until I got the answering machine. I felt that it was unprofessional and that they wasted my time.

We scheduled a tour online to view this afternoon and arrived to the leasing office and no one was there. It didn’t appear as if people were working today (lights off, door locked, etc). Looked at another review to find this is not the first time potential renters have been stood up. Please update this as to not waste anyone’s time. We are no longer interested in renting a unit here.

I scheduled a tour for this past Saturday and was stood up. It didn’t even look like a leasing agent was working there that day. This apartment building was on my top 3 buildings to move into in Seattle. I’d recommend scheduling a tour during the week and confirming with someone via email or phone so you don’t waste your time like I did.

I have had the incredible privilege of calling East Union my home for the past year, and I couldn't be happier. From the moment I moved in, I was greeted by the warm and welcoming Community Manager, Sashel, that made the transition seamless and stress-free.The management team here deserves an award for their unwavering dedication to creating a warm and welcoming environment. They go above and beyond to ensure every resident feels valued and heard. Maintenance requests are handled promptly, and they truly take the time to ensure the issues are resolved and our needs are met to the best degree possible.Speaking of maintenance, I am consistently impressed with the upkeep of the facilities. The entire property is beautifully maintained, from the lush gardens in the courtyard to the Rooftop deck and well-equipped fitness center. It's evident that the staff takes great pride in ensuring our living experience is nothing short of exceptional.Furthermore, the sense of community and camaraderie among the residents is truly heartwarming. I've had the pleasure of meeting wonderful neighbors who have become friends, and the regular community events organized by the staff have allowed me to connect with even more fellow residents. The location of this apartment community is also worth highlighting. It's conveniently situated near all the amenities I could ever need. Whether it's a quick trip to the grocery store, a cozy coffee shop, or a fantastic array of dining options, everything is near by making it incredibly easy to access all that the city has to offer. In summary, my experience as a resident here has been nothing short of exceptional. The outstanding staff, great amenities, beautiful surroundings, and strong sense of community have made this past year truly memorable. I am grateful to have found such a wonderful place to call home, and I wholeheartedly recommend this apartment community to anyone else in search of a five-star living experience.

I had a really great experience moving into East Union. The community is very nice both Sashel and Kayla were very helpful and quickly responded to any of my questions or needs. While moving some of my belongings I found that neighbors were more than willing to hold the elevator for me. The kindness I have received from this community has felt very welcoming for my family and we look forward to being a part of it for years to come.

I’m moving in soon, and I love the modern contemporary finishes of this community! Sashel and Makhi were so pleasant and accommodating during my tour. They provided great detailed information to all my questions and the area. I would recommend this place to anyone ?Thank you!

Upon move in our apartment had not been cleaned and and washing machine and dishwasher were growing mold. The bathroom door would not shut because the door was not on the frame correctly. Our freezer does not actually freeze and our washing machine has been malfunctioning since we moved in June. This has not been fixed in spite of submitting multiple work requests. We have not been able to do laundry successfully in over two months and there has been no communication or plan about fixing this long term issue. We are renting an MFTE (income restricted) unit and I absolutely believe we are being discriminated against because of the source of our income. I would not recommend this apartment for anyone who is searching for a MFTE unit.

We moved to a larger unit, and are very happy with our new apartment. Everyone was extremely helpful (as always). Kerry in maintenance had a cart ready for our use on the morning of our move, Sashell was early to bring us in and go through the new apartment. Dylan is always there for us, and helped with last minute glitches, which he always figures out. We are happy to be here and to stay for another year!

Truck noise will wake you up, a LOT. Have lived here over a year. Delivery trucks come to the store at 11:00 at night (and later), and at 6:30 AM (and earlier). Earplugs and closed windows do not solve it all the way. (And in summer, who wants a window closed?) Can't even watch TV on a summer evening with the window open. And note the response from the building: \"noise within the city was disruptive\" No. Noise from the trucks delivering to PCC is disruptive. PCC is a tenant in this building! If I play loud music at 11 PM and bother my two neighbors, I can get kicked out. If PCC trucks come every night at 11PM and bother every apartment on the west side of the building... management does nothing. The comment by the building shows how they take no responsibility from things under their control. PCC trucks should be limited to 8AM-8PM weekdays and 10AM-8PM weekends. As it is, they come at 6AM, 11PM, whenever! And the refrigeration units on those trucks ARE LOUD. Downgrading to one star because management is deliberately difficult. (They even sent me a lease extension once, I signed it, and then a month later they refused to sign it!) Nice building. Nice kitchen in my unit. Good location. If you are looking for a place to sleep, suggest looking elsewhere.

The building is run very well, it's always extremely clean, smells nice, etc. Maintenance has been very fast and very helpful in the few occasions I've needed help with something. It's hard to hear neighbors, which is nice. The roof and second floor landing are really nice as well, and similarly well maintained - if you have an interior unit and good wifi, it's nice to remote work from outside.
