I have been seeing Dr Khalfayan about 6 years. Always great visits. He has always been on time. Answers all my questions. That's why I drive almost 300 miles to see him. Thank you Dr Khalfayan

My husband is recovering from rotator cuff surgery and Dr. Khalfayan was his surgeon. He was exceptional and all the follow up visits are very quick and thorough. His assistant Kate, is exceptional too. If you are in need of an Orthopedic Dr, we highly recommend Dr. Khalfayan. His staff is very personable.

I always know I can get straight answers from Dr Khalfayan even if it's not what I wanted to hear. His PA, Kate Hubbert, is so knowledgeable and patient and has a great way of dealing with patients and explaining things so you can understand -- great analogies!!

After today, I will no longer be a patient of this practice and Dr. Khalfayan, and I caution others to seek care with another business. Preferably one that actually values their patients and makes any attempt to prioritize them. I am a veterinarian and can say that none of the patients I encounter are ever treated in the ways described below.I was a little late for an appt today but could not reach anyone by phone. After driving over an hour I was turned away. They typically take at least 45 minutes to see patients after checking in!They took unacceptably long to return calls about urgent post-op concerns, sometimes in excess of 48h!Lastly, their billing department also seems to be incapable of correctly sending a claim with all the surgery charges to my insurance with the $5,500 that I paid upfront (out of pocket) for bone marrow injection included. The goal is to have my insurance review the bone marrow procedure to see if they might cover it, but insurance will deny the procedure if not sent as a batch claim with the other CPT codes. I have repeatedly requested they do this, but it still has not occurred.Throughout my pre and post-op appointments Dr. Khalfayan has demonstrated that he has absolutely no interest in how meniscal injuries occur. When asked about how my injury might have occurred, what biomechanics might have been contributory, how I bear weight, what muscles might be weak, etc., his response was simply “It’s probably just bad genetics”. Seriously? How does one become a specialist without having a better grasp of how the disease process is occurring (aka pathophysiology), so that they can work with patients to help prevent future reinjury?! It seems like a no-brainer that this should be part of what he covers with patients. Instead, he only has an interest in fixing things once they go bad. As a doctor myself I can’t imagine having such a short-sighted view/understanding of a condition that I am treating. I truly hope for his patients’ sake that he does better in the future in this regard.

I have been struggling to get help for my daughter after her elbow injury 2 years ago. Dr. Khalfayan took time to listen and understand. She received more care and understanding in her first visit then she has for 2 years! Great place, caring team!

My visits to Dr. Khalfayan’s office have been great. The entire team is friendly and they do a thorough job answering my questions and explaining. They are professional and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend them to my friends and family.

While I hope I never need his services ever again, if I do he would easily be my first choice! I have never trusted any doctor the way I do Dr K. His bedside manner is straightforward and direct. His attention to detail seems impeccable. His eye for reading imaging, his medical understanding and knowledge, and his skill are the best I have ever experienced. I honestly cannot say enough. He earned his praise.

I feel like Dr K. does an overall good job. He’s personable, and attentive and helpful with helping me make personal medical decisions. He’s been my orthopedic physician for quite a few years and so far everything he’s helped me with has improved.

Dr Khalfayan is wonderful & thorough with preparation for surgery covering the plan for the day & recovery as well as any questions I had. His assistants were great getting me ready & keeping me comfortable.

Dr Khalfayan performed Tommy Johns surgery on my son’s elbow. He is now a year post-op and his pitching arm has recovered incredibly and I have to give thanks to Dr. K and his team for his expertise and care. We are so thankful and absolutely give 5+ stars!

Everything you’d want in a surgeon. I 100% trust Dr. Khalfayan and his team. They are thorough, professional, compassionate and absolute experts. Kate, his PA is amazing!!! He reconstructed my daughter’s acl last year and she made a full recovery faster than expected. He is helping me with my shoulder. He’s kind and compassionate and extremely knowledgeable. He’s very present, professional and there to do his job and he does it extremely well. I know I’m in good hands.

Dr. Khalfayan is the only doctor that I trust for myself and my family. Several times, the ER and referring orthopedic have miss diagnosed injuries of either myself or family members. In a couple situations those have been critical mistakes.Dr. Khalfayan years of experience have given him superior knowledge and insight as to the ensuing injury based on the activity, the movement, and or manipulation of injured area. His diagnosis is always spot on with the MRI. His surgery skills are superb resulting in quick recoveries. I’m very grateful to Dr Khalfayan and his time and dedication to his profession.

Dr Khalfayan and his PA Kate are an amazing team, top notch! I have had an extensive elbow surgery and knee surgery. He is very communicative, and is very concerned about the outcome under his care. I highly recommend Dr Khalfayan if you find yourself in need of orthopedic care. I have never felt rushed, he answers all my questions, and you can tell he cares deeply for his patients.

Dr. Khalfayan is where Knowledge and Experience meet with Kindness and Compassion. He is a Great doctor. I had my knee surgery done two months ago. Everything vent great, and I am hopping to ski this year! I do need to work on the PT exercises a little more before that :).
