Jamie was incredibly rude. She talked to me shortly, & did not provide any services that I wanted; refusing to even try & lighten my hair. I do not recommend this team, especially as when I decided to leave.. I was only met with short remarks & rude facial expressions. 0/5

I’ve been seeing Hope for over a year and nobody has ever cut or colored my hair as well. She always gets it exactly how I describe and always seems to really enjoy making my hair look as cute as possible

Wow! Derby Salon was excellent to me during my visit to Seattle for a wedding. I booked an appointment with Jessie for deep conditioning w/blow out to straighten up my very curly hair. Mission accomplished! Interations with all staff were very welcoming and pleasant! Thank you, Jessie & Derby crew! I will keep you in mind for future trips to Seattle

I had the best salon experience today. Jordan went above and beyond and I appreciate the care that she took with my hair. I love shears and the precision and cleanness looks great. I would highly recommend this salon. Also, Meg I belie that's her name in the front was so helpful and nice. I love supporting local.

I had a bad interaction with my hair and ended up leaving disappointed- staff reached out to help me free of charge and get me in contact with their head stylist so I could leave happy. Amazing customer service, they cared about my experience!

I went here for my wedding day hair and makeup on a recommendation from a friend. I was so happy with the end result, Jesse did an amazing job! I don't wear makeup day-to-day so I wanted to feel and look bridal but also still look like myself. I didn't have a lot of other ideas, I let Jesse run with it, and she delivered exactly what I wanted! I felt so beautiful! She was also fun and easy to hang with and calmed my pre-wedding nerves. The owner even brought me some herbal tea, which was also a very nice calming touch. The salon is very comfortable, clean, and cute, and I'd absolutely recommend it to a friend for their wedding day (or any other service)! Thank you!!

Everyone at Derby is friendly and they make the experience not only expert but also fun! They also stock a great assortment of products and other items such as candles and purses.

I'm what you might call a "selective customer," but Derby Salon? They've got me hooked! I'm practically a regular there, swinging by every two weeks for a haircut and trim action.
Caillee? She's the real deal. Her haircuts and advice are always right on the money. And when it comes to taming these unruly brows, Alison (the boss lady) and her crew work their magic like nobody's business.
What's even better? Derby Salon is a local gem, independently owned and oozing with neighborhood charm. If you find yourself wandering around Roosevelt, do yourself a favor and drop in. You won't be disappointed!

Got exactly what I was looking for!! Very clean, with a good selection of hair and skin products to purchase. Jessie was very attentive and I love my cut :)

Sabrina did a nice job of curling my hair! The salon was large and nice inside, which was not obvious from the street.

Potentially the worst salon I've ever been to. The reviews are likely fake. I'd stay away ? staff are nice but unskilled and clueless. Not to mention out of touch with reality.
