Don’t waste your time selling here. I brought in a bag today with either new or excellent condition items from Aritzia, Free People, Madewell and Revolve. They passed on everything because they weren’t the right “styles.” I waited about 20 minutes in line just to get called to the selling counter. The people who do the buying clearly have no taste & are young gen z-ers with no personal senses of style and just wear mindless/trendy work wear type stuff. Most of what I brought in was also a size XL or 2XL, so the buyers hating plus size people could have something to do with it. All the clothes they’re selling on the racks are all trendy crop tops and ugly sweatshirts that are overpriced. Just an overall massive waste of time.

It's okay. I feel they are very picky when trying to sell your clothes here, and when and if they do purchase from you, they low-ball you soo much, it's insulting almost. More so than their Cap Hill location. Their selection is hit or miss really.

Waited (literally) 2 hours to get my stuff looked at… but they took 20+ items and the buy price was very fair :) everyone was very nice too. I think all the bad reviews are from people who are impatient or can’t stand when people say no to them/can’t accept the items they brought in are not trendy/sellable.

There is a lot of overpriced fast-fashion (only brands that they consider “nice”).
Part of the staff is very unfriendly and snobby. Some of the clothes on sale are not in good condition, like the ones with washing machine marks, and they sell for almost $25 or more.
There is no transparency in selling rules.
You can find better clothes and prices in places like the Assistance League and Goodwill.

My regular store is not buying today due to a technical problem. I made the mistake of visiting the 4300 University Way store. I knew I was going to leave your store pissed off as soon as I saw “Marie”, she ignored my greeting as I walked into the store. After she finished picking through my items, I simply asked if there was anything wrong with the clothes she rejected. I wasn’t sure if I had missed anything. She went on a long winded explanation implying I was wrong for assuming something may have been wrong with the clothes. Dissatisfied with her attitude, I stated that the buying process at her store is often more exclusionary than other locations. She wrinkled up her face in disgust, and went on to give me a rant/lecture about how using the term “exclusionary” isn’t the right word, as if I do not know how to speak English. I don’t appreciate being victimized by a loser like this who gets off by being disrespectful and splitting hairs with her customers. She needs to be removed. This isn’t the first time that she has taken this attitude with me over the 6 years I’ve wasted at this location.

Store is clean, parking was easy and the staff was friendly, I would recommend this location over the cap hill one where I had an awful experience, I’m glad I took another chance on them

They rarely buy the clothes that people bring in. But the items they have for sale are moderately priced.

Disgusting that Julia didn’t even find it important enough to go through the clothes that I got to sell, claiming that they were harder to sell styles and there was wear and tear.
A baby pink nike sports bra, a yellow sundress..….anyone who understands fashion knows what sells and what doesn’t. Please teach your employees basic courtesy and respect Crossroads. Quite a disheartening experience and almost felt like she purposely didn’t bother to go through them. Ykwim.

Used fast fashion for new prices. If you want used urban outfitters, Zara, etc, just wait for their sales and buy new.
They were not interested in buying any of my high quality clothes because " they wouldn't sell"
However, this is not stated anywhere on their " what to sell guide" I followed their instructions and brought only things that were season appropriate and " on trend".
Why waste my time and energy dragging 50 lbs of clothes into the store when you're not going to give an accurate description of what you want?
You can use Thred up instead and mail in your clothes without needing to make an appointment or wait in a long line.
The staff is very unfriendly excluding one employee who helped me. (Young employees who probably get a power trip from being in control of whether you get money or not) This includes the person that helps you with the fitting room, who rudely ignores you and doesn't smile.
I've picked up one sweatshirt that I love from crossroads.

I spend $30 on a raincoat and it disintegrated after 4 uses. I hope others have a better experience than I did bc I won't be back.
