Community Grocery is a solid spot for hot, fresh, and quick teriyaki chicken. The spicy chicken teriyaki is specifically highlighted as the best in Seattle, with a perfect balance of sweet and savory and a low heat profile. It is cooked to order, flavorful, and has a good char while remaining juicy. The portions are nice and could provide two meals. The chicken teriyaki is served with rice that has the right texture and a crisp, fresh, creamy salad that provides a nice contrast. The tofu yakisoba, however, was just okay for some, missing a deeper char and more sauce, though it does not skimp on tofu. The business also offers a great menu selection for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with lots of convenience items and snacks. It sells beer and wine, including bottled wine. It appears to be a family-owned and operated business with very nice people. The quality of the food never ceases to amaze customers and is worth the price.

The quality of food there never ceased to amaze me. I ordered spicy chicken teriyaki and the taste was very delicious. It was worth the price I paid for a takeout.
