Picky. We are turned down for second-time appointment on Sept 5th as our first appointment happened on April 27 and it was “way passed 4 month” in their original words.One of our dog hair grows slowly and still in good condition. Another dog started to get mat and we start to schedule the appointment for both of them(we bath them once two weeks and we comb/demat at home regularly.)You can easily check the fact with me or you can put “4 month” requirements on your website and inform us during the first appointment. So I will know that this is not the pet salon we will go to. I sus myself as a good customer as spent almost $270 for two small (12 & 18 lbs) dogs.

Told me to walk in for a service so I came all the way with my little dog & once I got there they opened the door to say that they were closed - early & by an employee that didn't know what was up because they only come in after hours??Definitely not trying this whole thing again, straight up unprofessional & dishonest.

I hate this place! I took my dog here for the first time in March. She went in fine and came out with a terrible cough. I got every test done I could because my dog coughed for three months straight after being groomed here!!! Her face was not cut even nor was her back so they must have had trouble grooming!! They held my dog the wrong way and caused a trachea collapse!!!! You people murdered my baby!!

They did such a great job with my pup for her first grooming appointment ever. Came out looking like a totally different dog!! And she was so happy when I picked her up, didn't seem stressed or anything. Thank you again City Paws for making her first appointment so easy :) Will definitely be coming back!

I took my dog to City Paws expecting the same treatment I read about in a few 4 star reviews. However, what I experienced was just the opposite. When I arrived with my dog for our afternoon appt, I was asked to make sure I would be able to pick my dog up by a certain time because they had another appointment right in back of her. I said sure. 35 minutes later (30 minutes earlier than the intended pick up time, I get a text that tells me my dog is ready and can I get there. It was a sense of urgency to get my dog out. When my sitter arrived to get my dog, she noticed that my dog was coughing and she wasn’t coughing before going to City Paws. Since going to City Paws, my dog has been put on an antibiotic for a terrible cough that may be associated with the way her neck was held during grooming since she is an elderly dog. I do not recommend this place!

Love City Paws and Margret. My dog isn’t afraid of being left and it’s only a short stay as they do a quick turnover. Very happy with the results and the treatment they give my little partner.

Love everything in City Paws Pet Salon ! Everybody is so nice and so gentle with my Luna (little yourkie ) Luna have front legs broken ( they didn't heal well ) and team knows this and they are so gentle. I never wait a lot they doing fast and great service !! So happy with team . Hope my dogs are happy too !!

Love this place! It’s Easy to schedule the appointment and the salon is a very quiet, calm, environment. My boy looks great and is back to be getting the attention he is used to. He received a very carefully done, professional grooming and bathing. And it only took the two hours she estimated. And I appreciate that because it’s also indicative of not working on other dogs and doing nail trims or ‘drop in’ baths or adding additional stress to my pup’s day.

I have taken my malti-poo to City Paws for a long time and I have always been happy with the results. I usually wait way too long between visits and she is difficult to groom as well as being very skiddish , but always friendly. Margaret always does a nice job and after trying many groomers I am so happy to have found City Paws!! One of the nice things is as soon as my dog is ready Margaret calls and I go get my dog. Some groomers you have to drop the dog off in the morning and they sit in cages all day and you pick them up after 8 hours which is never fair to the dog. My dog is usually ready in about 1 1/2hrs. Many times when I pick her up she is just in the shop milling around with her dog behind the gate.

Been taking our new puppy to City Paws for a few months now and they are fabulous. She always looks great and is so happy when we pick her up. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and really loves dogs. Highly recommend.

I am a new dog owner and new to the salon and I made that abundantly clear on the phone weeks before the appointment. I bathed my pup before the appointment because he had been playing around in mud earlier that morning, and when I got in there and told the owner of the shop this, she gave me a snarky little attitude and said "Well why did you do that? Now the haircut is not going to be as good."EXCUSE ME?! ... I don't know about you, but if I want customers to stay at my salon and not write reviews about poor customer service experience, maybe stop treating your customers so poorly...especially new customers.I am literally debating right now driving back there to pick up my pup. This has made for such an awful first time experience. The owner showed no empathy or understanding and did not even recognize how awful she spoke to me.I am sick of businesses that do not treat their customers well. A first impression is powerful and this first impression was a 0 out of 10.

Came in at 4 pm on a Thursday for nail clipping. Was rudely told by someone inside that they were closed even though their hours say 5 pm, and we watched her leave directly behind us. Such a shame
