Excellent spot for those looking for quality wines and a selection with a large international variety. Have gotten friendly service from the owner each time I've stopped in. Pricing may steer me back to Whole Foods or PCC since I have cheaper taste, but if I'm in the neighborhood and feel like spending a few more dollars on better wines, I'll shop here.

Well curated bottle shop, the prices are also VERY fair. I see the exact same wines at higher prices in other shops in the city.The owners are knowledgeable and make good recommendations.

WHY NOT FIVE STARS? It's the owner. He is lacking any interest in customers. "Interesting people are interested." - Dale Carnegie He is only interested in going through the motions of shallow customer service niceties. "Have a nice day." That's about all you'll get. Attempting to engage him in a conversation is met with a cold stare and subsequent ignoring your comment. His focus is limited to the transaction. The wine selection is amazing. It must be the reason he survives. And, the location in a nouveau affluent neighborhood. This guy is 180° from the former owner, who was molto simpatico...and had a great Shop Dog named Giacomo. Every visit was a delight. Compared to those wonderful visits, this dullard is a big drag. He doesn't "get it" and never will. It's only a business. Senza cuore e anima!!! The Three Stars are for the wine. "Arrivaderci!"

City Cellars is the bomb! They’re my go-to for fantastic yet affordable wine ($10 and under shelf just inside the door is handpicked by the owner) or a fine vintage to impress my friends. It’s organized by growing region, and it’s a small enough store that you can browse a great selection without getting overwhelmed. The owner and staff are also extremely knowledgeable— they always help me find what I’m looking for!

We returned on Valentine's Day, two years after my previous visit. The setting is not as large as it seems from the outside, and it is really compact and cozy. The operator of this wine business was a lot of fun and very accommodating. The dinner was amazing, and the setting was perfect. We will, without a doubt, return!

This could be one of the nicest wineries we have been to! We enjoyed our stop here, the staff was awesome and super friendly. They have a very nice facility and grounds. We especially liked the flavored sparkling wines and ordered some for the holidays once we got home. Overall, this place is worth a visit!

On Valentine's Day, we visited this wine shop after I had been there 2 years before. Thoroughly enchanting! The position is not what you might expect and is very small and intimate from the outside. It is great fun and very welcoming to the guys who run it. The wines were incredible, and the atmosphere was great. I would strongly recommend a visit to everyone and can't wait to visit again!

Excellent selection of top shelf, rare, one-offs and boutique bottles...Especially during the pandemic when many are downsizing both staff and product. Price was fair, especially for Seattle. Service was on par with my unique request. This place is definitely worth visiting!

Cozy wine shop to spend time with friends or a partner. They have a wide selection, and the wines I tried were great. This place is really good when you want to unwind or relax. I like how calm the ambiance of this place. The food that I ordered matches the wine that I had.

Such a fun and dangerous place to browse. Despite the thin selection in some areas (South Africa, South America, very particular US AVAs), there are tons of gems here in all price ranges, and it's very easy to walk out with at least a half case of exciting finds. If they don't have it, they can order it or help you find something similar.

I’ve known this wine shop long ago. This shop was really amazing. The wines that they had was so delicious and beers as well. They had a huge range of wines that you could choose from. The staff will surely help you out in choosing wines. The place has a great atmosphere. Such a lovely wine shop to visit.
