I love this bridal shop! They make each dress themselves, working with you to make it just what you envision. Unfortunately, I didn't KNOW what I envisioned, and couldn't take advantage of their relaxed, expert skills, but I can highly recommend them, even so!

Morgan is a goddess! I came to her last year when I was a month out from my destination wedding and had made a last minute dress switch. Then I made another switch a mere two weeks before the wedding and she handled the situation with such grace. With her guidance, I was able to make a confident decision. She then helped me with minor alterations for my gown and also helped customize my reception dress. I was losing my mind before my wedding and honestly don't know what I would have done without her. I wish I would have just gone to Morgan from the beginning and had her make my dress. It would have saved me thousands of dollars and all the stress of trying to find a pre-made dress that was exactly what I wanted.

I worked with Morgan at Cicada and she was just phenomenal. I wanted a blue dress for my wedding but it was hard to find or even custom make due to materials and cost. I ended up buying a dress online that was the right color, but i wanted it modified. I asked Morgan if she would and she didn't hesitate. I had a hard time describing my vision but she never made me feel bad about it and worked with me. The results ended up being better than I could have imagined. The dress is gorgeous and I got compliments on it all day (and still do). I am so happy I went to Cicada!

What a wonderful shop and experience! Morgan was so kind, knowledgeable, and not pushy at all (in the absolute best way). The shop is absolutely GORGEOUS, with lovely lights, decor, and a spacious waiting area. Even though I did not find my dress here, I couldn't recommend it enough (I ended up going with a very different style that I fell in love with years ago and somehow managed to find on eBay in my size). Cicada is awesome. You won't regret it! Plus the central location is perfect for heading to lunch/ happy hour after your appointment. 10/10!

I took my dress here to do minor alterations and really enjoyed my experience. They were professional, kind and very talented. They communicated clearly what they recommended and made sure I was on the same page. Very efficient drop off and pick up with quick turn around time. Affordably priced. Highly recommend.

Truly stellar experience from start to finish! Morgan is professional, timely, and honest in her consultations and very fun to work with. The crafts(wo)manship of the new straps and bow detail for my dress were beyond my wildest dreams of perfect. I wish I had come in sooner to work with this amazing team – I'd highly recommend Cicada to anyone looking for a custom dress or special alterations.

I would give Morgan 10 stars!! I bought my dress at Blue Sky Bridal--a simple sleek crepe dress--and wanted to customize it by adding a lace overtrain. Blue Sky sent me to Cicada, and over the course of 6 months Morgan worked with me over email and then in person to create my dream dress. Not only did she add the overtrain and handle the alterations to make my dress fit perfectly, she is professional, fun, and refreshingly real in the bridal industry. Cicada's staff are clearly experts at what they do--their custom made bridal gowns in the shop are beautiful--and yet they are reasonably priced. Another shop quoted me a rate so high I wouldn't ever have been able to do the customization I had my heart set on, but Cicada made it possible. I highly recommend visiting them for either alterations or a custom gown! THANK YOU MORGAN!

I had the most amazing experience from beginning to end with Morgan. She is wonderful and so talented. I tried on 30+ dresses and didn't love any of them. Then I discovered Cicada and while I loved one of their styles, I wanted a different fabric, so when Morgan said "we can customize everything however you want" I immediately went for it and I do not regret a single thing!! I basically re-designed one of their already beautiful styles by changing a few details to make it more "me". She was able to bring my vision to life, she listened carefully and my wedding dress ended up looking even better than I imagined. I cannot recommend this place enough. They also have amazing prices and I was able to stay within my budget. If you have a dress in mind and can't find anything you like, Cicada is definitely the place for you!!
