This place seems to have changed ownership since the last time I visited, and I'm all for it.I'd been staring at the giant Teriyaki sign for months, so last week I finally stopped in.The clerk is very cute and friendly, and as I was leaving, I asked him if they happened to speak Japanese (I'm always curious about Teriyaki places and whether they speak Japanese). Turns out he does! So I said ごちそうさま (thanked him for my meal) and he was surprised but pleased.I came back today, and we chatted more about work, and all sorts of other things. He showed me the paper menu they have, so that I could order ahead if needed. I explained that I work up the road and make my own schedule, so I don't mind waiting.This place has the best snack collection (as do many of these beer/snack markets) and I'm looking forward to relaxing with a beverage, once I'm out of my alcohol hiatus; the clerk mentioned the beer selection today during our chat.These positive interactions alone are encouraging me to come back regularly, and I am very happy with my new acquaintance. I will need to bring my Husband and best friend with me soon.The Teriyaki chicken I had last time was superb, and today I remembered to snap a pic of my shrimp stir fry. I didn't get a photo, but I also tried the French fries, which are nice and crispy. It looks like they cut the prawns in half (I've done that once at home to see what happens, I like how they curl up). The meal was also superb. I'll probably try something new each visit.Highly recommend this one stop shop!

If you live in Seattle and have never been to Choice Deli, you're missing out. A hidden gem with a parking lot. 30 Northwest Micro brews on tap, and walls filled with refrigerated beer! The teriyaki was tasty, just the right amount of saltiness. The rice was steamed nicely and lightly smelled of saffron. Cool ambiance, patio or inside seating, very affordable. Did I mention the beer!

EDIT: I still really like the store but some of the recent price hikes are just way too much. HUGE selection of great beers with beer on tap as well. If you are going there to eat I strongly recommend the Chicken Teriyaki. It is the best option for sure. Staff is knowledgeable and have no problems recommending a beer you will like.

The food is reasonably good. The service is not. We've been ordering lunch from this place regularly for over a year and unfortunately now they're about as friendly as an SOS pad. Oh, and don't use the online menu from their own website because it's wrong. Unfortunately this place seems to be going down hill.

This place is the best! Free parking in the front. Generous portions, really light teriyaki sauce, light skin on the gyozas, amazing variety of all the beer types you can imagine. We got the beef teriyaki and chicken teriyaki and ended up taking everything home. All the entrees come with lots of fluffy rice, soy sauce and creamy dressing on the side and all wrapped in a to go box. The owner is so friendly and even provided a second beer for us to enjoy. Some seating indoors which we appreciated. Will definitely be back!

I went here on Monday and was very upset because I ordered chicken teriyaki and the meat was fried chicken over the rice. That's not chicken teriyaki that I'm used too.Usually the teriyaki is tasty with boneless chicken. Very upsetting

They just charged my girlfriend twice what is listed on their menu. Real nice place that preys on women like that. Keep it up.

The menu is wonderful! All the dishes are so delicious, tons of flavor and very generous portions. The yakisoba is awesome as is all the teriyaki entrees.

Choice really has it all, whether your a little stoned and want some candy/chips or if you're looking for the a six pack from a local brewery they've got you covered. They even serve food that I have yet to try.
