Takes quite long to open an account and then felt a lot of pressure to sign up for things. I had to be really firm and say no and sometimes felt that there was a strong “don’t take no for an answer” response.
For example, I didn’t want to sign up for extra fraud monitoring, I wanted to go home as I wanted to get back to work, but they didn’t let me go without signing up for chase fraud dashboards of some sort. While I understand fraud is a big deal having worked in cyber security, we said no at least twice and it was totally ignored. It was a simple adding someone to a joint account that was already created at a different branch but we were stuck there for over half an hour because of these kinds of shenanigans. I literally created this account two weeks ago at a different branch and had a smooth and efficient experience.
Going to try a different location. Really unpleasant experience. If I were less financially savvy or technically competent, I could’ve easily been roped into signing up for all sorts of things. Do not recommend. I’ve carried out business at other branches and didn’t experience this pushy sales behavior. Suspect management at this branch could be optimizing too hard on metrics at the expense of long term customer satisfaction and relationships. If you’re the kind of person who has trouble saying no, I’d try a different branch.

It’s amazing to me when the staff prioritizes $10 cashier check fee over customizer courtesy. Especially for long term customers with huge credit lines. It’s almost like a power move. I worked at the bank before. I know how this works. Thank god we can just do everything in our app now. One of the reasons younger generation will move to online new banks. What’s the point of having a Chase account if you still have to pay fees to use their bank services. Oh well, good luck to you all. I know doing your job right and following procedures is important for you.

Shoutout to Francis whom I actually met at the Shoreline branch, but he directed me to come to this Crown Hill branch to get the beautiful Year of the Dragon calendar and red envelopes that I was trying to find. I had already driven to a few different Chase branches that had turned me away because they were all out of the calendar. I was standing in a slow line at the Shoreline branch, and Francis came up to the line to see if he could speed it up and help customers. I was next in line. I told him how much the calendar meant to me (I have a few Dragons -- people born in the year of the dragon -- in my family, and the dragon is a special symbol to us). Shoreline didn't have any, but he told me he KNEW that Crown Hill had some, and he even offered to call to double check. I told him not to spend his time calling, then drove there and he was right! I'm so happy to have this calendar. It is absolutely gorgeous.It was such a little thing and just took a few minutes, but it made all the difference to me. Even if I hadn't gotten the calendar, Francis's kind and helpful demeanor made an impression. I have accounts at a few different banks, including Chase, but the ones that stand out to me are the ones that have caring customer service. Thanks, Francis! You rock!

I went to open an account. The lady at the front told me it would be 10 minutes or less. I had been waiting for 38 minutes, and still, no one helped us, so we left, and as we we're leaving, only then they decided to help us. Worst bank location I have ever been to, I wouldn't recommend anyone going there not worth your time.

ATM stole my money. Never had this happen. The atm only gives out $5 bills but will charge you as if they were $20 bills.

I went into this location last week and I needed some temporary checks printed since the checks I ordered had not arrived after 3 weeks of waiting. I want to thank Laly for helping me out and taking the time to listen and care about my issue. She let me know that it wasn't uncommon for checks to take a long time to arrive. (They did eventually arrive.) I don't particularly like Chase or all of the fees and hassles I go through banking with them but I do enjoying meeting wonderful employees that brighten my day. I let her know how pleasant she was and thanked her but I think that Chase should know how wonderful Laly's service was last Thursday.

Lyla was an enormous help when I used Chase Bank yesterday. I had just taken on the responsibility of depositing all cash for a dealership I work for, in a brand new account I hadn't used before. I was hilariously flawed at my mission but Lyla was so patient and helpful and helped me get everything squared away. I didn't realize I had dropped the task on her so close to closing time, so extra kudos to her for being such a good sport!

I've been banking at Chase and its predecessors (beginning with the long gone First National Bank of Chicago) since the 1970's and have always been happy with the service I've received there. I know it's fashionable to complain about big banks, but Chase has always been good to me and the Crown Hill branch on 15th NW is no exception. Nice people, rarely have to wait, and I've never paid a penny to them for all the services they've provided. Hard to beat that!
