Wow- such disappointment. After years of not having a branch at MP, I am shocked by the service we get. I was trying to speak with someone at the counter about my account. The person had a literal airpod in their ear; barely attentive to my concerns- another person was clearly not suitable/knowledgeable to be there and did not communicate well. What happened to customer service? Why do I need to drive 20 min+ from home to get proper attention?

I waited 20 minutes just to make change for a 100. Since when do you need to prove you have an account to make change? I've had an account at this bank forever. They're always understaffed you always have to wait forever for every single task. It's ridiculous I'm going to close my account here.

I arrived at the bank about 9:45 am, there was already a line of customers for the one teller that was there. I stood in line 20 minutes while waiting. Finally after getting to the teller I asked for a bank check so I could go over to my other bank and make a deposit. She recommended a Cashiers check, did they just have a Bank Check so I could deposit it easier. She didn't know what that was, but someone helping open another teller lane told her. She wanted $2.00 for that service. I said no thanks, after waiting 20 min in line. Left, went back home then to the bank I was depositing the money in. Peoples Bank, I wish you would open an office on Cap Hill. No waiting in line, no charge for a teller, or bank check and always first class service all the time.

Big shout out to this branch for premiere customer service! I I started banking with Chase in Chicago in 2007 and loved for the most part the service I received in that city. Since then I have lived and/or worked in several major metros and havent always been in love with their service etc--huge variations depending on where I was. That said, I recently went into this branch with the intention to move most of my assets away from Chase and was pleasantly surprised and the high level of service and attention to detail that I received from everyone I interacted with... In particular the branch manager's Ian and Victoria were particularly welcoming and even explained and then waived an arbitrary fee that was in one of my accounts, arranged for a free batch of customized checks and left me with a very strong impression. Complimentary parking in garage in alley and on the side of the building. Smaller branch but very attentive! Will remain with these folks for a while longer!

I've never been a fan of big banks, but I come here on occasion due to an account I've had since I was a kid back when chase was still Washington Mutual. I've never experienced bad service & have always been greeted upon entering. Also this is one of the last banks I've seen without the bandit barriers that can take away from being able to interact with the tellers.
