Casa Latina is a one-of-a-kind organization. They empower people to be proud of the work and services they offer while supporting them with resources and worker’s rights information. I would recommend workers from Casa Latina any day!

Well, I hired 2 workers to help me to move some furniture, they deep scratch my bedroom set, ripped off my carpet, they dented my bbq, broke the compact of my car and the WORST make a big whole on my wall.I called Casa Latina the next day and ask them to send someone to fix it, they send another person and ir wast WORST, he pain the wall different color, split all the paint on the wood and floor, it was an absolutely DISASTER!Now, I'm keeping all my damage furniture and on top what I spent paying them, buying stuff that they miss and ruin, I'm in need of a professional painter to fix what they did.Absolutely unacceptable!Don't never hire them for a descent job.

I have used Casa Katina over the years and been pleased with their work. As the fees go up their willingness to work is going down. The last two times I have hired someone, they were not willing to stay beyond the five hours to finish the job. Not Once again today, I am left without a finished project. I was more than willing to pay for the additional hour or two. So now I have to hire someone else to finish the job. I have hired landscaping companies in the past to clean my flower beds, but they came and worked until the job was finished. I think I will go back to working with them and services like task rabbit. That way I know I can get my project completed after all that is the general purpose. It is to get paid a fair wage for them and get the work done for me. I am very disappointed because I would rather work with a non-profit. The guy that came did a great job but I think I'm done.

We were so happy with Omar's help. He worked very hard during his term and later our neighbors were asking how they could hire him for their own jobs. It was nice to be able to tell them about the organization and how it helps folks beyond just connecting them with day jobs. We would definitely hire again through Casa Latina.

Had a great first experience with Casa Latina’s Day Worker program. I called to schedule a move out clean and was easily able to book someone for the next day. Maricruz did a GREAT job scrubbing our kitchen, bathroom and floors. I’ve never seen the fridge that clean!I’d definitely hire from Casa Latina again. Great mission and great service.

I hired Casa Latina to do some paver work on my patio (leveling, weed removal and edge installation). Servando did an excellent job and was able to complete the tasks by the end of the day. Overall a great experience.

First experience was great. A worker showed up and removed carpet. Work I didn't want to do and could not have done better myself.Second experience was ok. The worker primed one floor of house before having painter come to spray. Came out good. Had extra time and asked him to paint one coat of a room. I asked him to cover the floor. He did not, and said he would come back to clean it up. He came back later that day to get the radio he forgot but never responded to my calls about the cleanup. I spent more time than he spent painting the room removing the paint and had to do another coat as it was rushed. I would have been better off having him leave early and paying the full five hours. (this is the trend I am starting to see, I would have been better off not relying on the service offered)Experience last week did not happen. I paid the transportation fee, but the worker never showed up, never contacted me, nor did Casa Latina, nor have they responded to my email asking what happened. I could have started earlier if I knew I was going to do it myself, but waited thinking I would ultimately save time. This put me off schedule and I had to cancel plans to do the work myself. The resource has a great mission, one that I would like to support, and there seems to be a sweet spot of difficulty vs precision that can be accomplished for a good price by utilizing Casa Latina. But, unless something changes, I will not waste my time.
