Amanda went above and beyond and helped me get an earlier appointment then initially available and she followed up to make sure came in. They constantly kept me up to date on what's happening and delivered the vehicle on time. Overall it was a great experience.

My car was recently damaged while parked and the other party thankfully left their insurance information and were deemed 100% liable. CARSTAR ARA Collision Seattle took great care of me. They helped to ensure that my vehicle repair process was as seamless as possible including dealing with the insurance and getting a rental car. In addition, I realized my car headlights were both not working the next day and they allowed me to bring my car in and quickly diagnosed the issue as both bulbs being burned out. While I was there, I noticed some molding around my rear wheel wells were coming loose, and they helped reattach them. Thanks so much!Services: Painting

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST!!Took my car for repairs + paint. The first time I dropped it off it took 2 weeks which is very reasonable, when I got it back the fender, hood, door, side skirt was not aligned with the body lines at all, the slide skirt was barley hanging on, you can tell they threw it together in a hurry to get you out of the door. Now the paint on the other hand was absolutely horrible, Im driving around with 2 different colors on my car, the factory paint color is glossy, the color they sprayed on is SATIN. I contacted Rick immediately and they had me come back in to CORRECT everything that was done the first time but couldn’t get me in until 2 months later because they were running behind. I drop my car off for the SECOND time now, I SPECIFICALLY told them NOT to paint my drivers rear door. They told me they would correct the paint on the fender, door, bumper, hood etc, the painter himself came out and acknowledged that it wasn’t the right paint color. This process was supposed to take 2 weeks AGAIN. Mind you, I’m perfectly fine with them taking their time as i’m HOPING it comes out looking factory again. They never kept me updated throughout the process but every time I would call to check in, their sorry excuse was “We’re running behind, we only have one painter at the moment” This whole process took a full month to CORRECT their first rushed mistakes. I FINALLY get the car back after a full month of waiting, and what do you know? They didn’t fix ANY of the paint, they did what I told them NOT TO DO and went and painted the rear drivers door to “blend” it all together. The whole left side of my car now is their sloppy paint job and the right side is my factory clean color. To top this whole experience off, when I picked up my car for the SECOND time after waiting a total of a month and a half to get my car looking factory, there was ZERO oil in my engine, I just got a oil change 3 weeks prior to dropping my car off, where did 4+quarts of oil go while the car was sitting in the shop for a month? I’m really lucky I checked the oil level before driving or else I would’ve blown my motor. Rick and the lady at the front desk are nice and respectful but don’t take your car here if you truly value how it will come out and want it to look factory (OEM) finish.

Some one at the shop drove my car without my permission 800 miles between my dropping of and pickup. Of course shop disagree. Pursuing this issue.

CARSTARTS had very nice workers who kept me updated throughout the process of getting my car fixed. My car looked great after they where done. Plus is way a wonderful plus that they even cleaned the inside of my car.

Poor customer service! Please read a little. Warning! This could be you.Perhaps you may receive a 5 Star experience... or you may not. I certainly did not. A 4.6 Star Rating. No one is perfect? Yes. But, you may be the lucky customer that will "fall through the cracks" and got crap to show for it.They know what they did. I guess they don't mind losing a few of us.So, spin that customer service wheel! 5 Star? or 1 Star? Good Luck.

I lost $650 because of an incompetent person at Carstar ARA who did the initial estimate on my repair work. Read on for full details.Carstar Ara was one of the preferred repair locations for my insurance company. I brought my car in for an insurance estimate. The guy spent 5 minutes looking at the car. He took a couple of pictures. He didn't open the hood to look at how deep the front end damage actually was. He was clearly in a hurry and gave us a repair estimate of $3,500.We made an appointment for repairs. It was a 2 month wait which is currently pretty normal. We drove the car the whole time, with a smashed up front end. I had a warning light for my tires and took it in to a tire shop where I was told the tires needed to be replaced as soon as possible. So, two weeks before my repair appointment at Carstar, I spent $900 on new tires.Two weeks later, I took my car in to Carstar for repairs. Two days later, I received a call from my insurance company telling me that the repair estimate was $8,000 and my car was being totaled. My new tires had less than 50 miles on them. When I complained to my insurance company about the value of my new tires the independent adjuster added $250 to the payout value.If he would have given a proper estimate initially I would have never spent $900 on tires two weeks before the car was declared totaled. Thanks a lot CARSTAR, I won't be back. If you do bring your car here, don't trust their estimate to be accurate.Service: Body & Trim
