The meat is really high quality! They have adobada marinated meat and it is delicious! Everyone is super nice too!

This review is strictly for the meat market side of the establishment. So many different cuts of meat and from the multiple times we've been here, everything has always been fresh and delicious. We always bring our own bag but when checking out we get charged 10 cents. Frustrating to correct that "error" repeatedly since we come here twice a month.

I strongly recommend the EXCELLENT tamales!!! My partner and I have had their tamales multiple times, and each time, the different flavors of tamales have been consistently delicious! In fact, the tamales remind me of the homemade ones I get from family in my hometown around Christmas! The salas are also very good! The folks working there have also always been super welcoming and friendly, and there is a great selection of reasonably meat. Overall, El Paisano is a great local butcher shop.

We’ve been buying tamales and tacos dorados here for years and they’re the best around. Absolutely delicious!

Pork and chicken tamales were great. The masa well-seasoned and fluffy.

This is the place to get tamales. Here you will find the best tamales in Seattle. Call in your order and just pick them up. They also have a great selection of salsas

I'm so glad this place is right by my bus stop. It's the perfect place to grab some tamales when I'm tired and not feeling like cooking but also don't want to spend restaurant-level $$. I've gotten some meat there also but honestly I'm really ignorant on the cuts and what they're used for. I do also get some of the chicharones from time to time. Tamales - I like them all but the cheese and green chile is my fave. Sometimes I'll stick them in the fridge and then cut them up in the morning and fry them crispy alongside some eggs for breakfast. Nice to have around! On the weekends they also do some sweet ones like pineapple and strawberry. The lady at the counter is a joy to deal with; always a big smile on her face. It's also a small grocery with basic things like sauces, some basic canned goods, dried peppers, candies etc.

We ordered tamales and salsas for a graduation party. They are the very best! Service is excellent too. Everyone asked where we got them. So authentic and delicious!

Was originally excited as this place stocks a range of goods but sadly I won't be returning.I picked up a whole beef tongue but it ended up having a strong cockroach/bug spray taste. I see other negative reviews speaking to poor sanitary practices so not surprised. Won't step foot in this place again.

I will put zero, I hate this place so much, it's a such of ripped off, the food is gross, the supposed barbacoa, what's birria, was the most greasy thing I ever try and I got so sick, please don't waste your money.

Love the variety and if you’re lucky you get a chance to buy fresh tamales, salsa and fresh made seviche .
