Our son has been at Bright Horizons since he was about 6 months old. The center is so welcoming! Every teacher or admin greets him by name and love that he is able to connect with him, regardless of if they are in his classroom every date. We love seeing what activities he does daily, and the curriculum helps him learn so many new skills. We just adore the car he gets here.

Bright Horizons Seneca is amazing. The teachers are very caring, loving, and pro-active. We love the variety of games, toys, and immersions that the center provides every day. Jasmine and Yee are incredible teachers and care so deeply about their students. In just a few months, we've seen our 18-month old develop new language, use utensils like a champ, and so much more. He runs into their classroom and is full of smiles in the photos each day. The admin team Shar and Doreen are top-notch and ensure a wonderful experience for both parents and kiddos. Grateful for this school!

This review is about Bright Horizon’s Backup Care. We sent our 8 month old daughter to this center and subsequently attempted nanny backup care. It’s been one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had. When we first booked for the center we got a confirmation email the day prior that she had a spot. As we were loading the car they called to tell us no spot was available. Another hour on the phone and we finally got a spot at Seneca. The care at Seneca was less than ideal - leaving several hysterically crying babies on the floor without any acknowledgment. So we decided to try the nanny service. Over the course of 5 weeks we’ve requested 10 days of care and have had them cancel on us half of the time - many times not until the nanny was due to arrive. Excuses ranged from the nanny being sick to getting in a car accident. Not to mention that outside of those cancellations there were several times they couldn’t find a nanny all together. Not sure how they can call this backup care.Their online platform is essentially useless and the customer service line subpar.

So sad how much has changed since we first started at Bright Horizons at Seneca Street in 2016, soon after it opened. (See below my review from 5 years ago.)We just finished with our second child in the program, and everything is way worse. We’ve been through *8* Center Directors in as many years… each less competent than the one before. (The current one is solid but she’s “interim.”)The staff turnover is so rapid that we hardly get to know the new teachers before they leave. Despite our sky high tuition, the teachers are not paid a livable income for the location. Rooms are constantly closed and combined due to staff shortages. Staff morale is perpetually low and they feel unappreciated and unsupported by the Company (their words, not my characterization). The curriculum used to include science and walks and field trips and cool projects… all of which are gone. They used to use a cool gym with a climbing wall and a play structure. But then that became a storage facility. It recently reopened but has none of the prior features and amenities. Our first child left prepared for kindergarten due to the solid K-Prep program. But K-Prep has turned into glorified (and outrageously expensive) babysitting. They seem to do more beading than learning numbers and letters. Our second child had a far inferior experience and education, most notably at the K-Prep level. We kept hoping things would improve, but in retrospect we should have cut our losses a year or two ago and moved to a better daycare.Things are so bad that even Bright Horizons middle managment acknowledges the issues. At her request, the Regional VP of Operations had a standing call with my wife to learn about what was going wrong at the Center. With a great location and a once top notch physical plant (showing serious neglect 8 years later), this center should be a shining star in the Bright Horizons orbit. Instead, it’s a huge underperformer, as evidenced by multiple vacant classrooms.I hope that the Company can get its act together and save a center that played such a central role in our children’s early years. But they’ve been (seemingly) trying for so long that I’m pessimistic that any change is on the horizon.I am happy to chat with any prospective parents to provide more color to help you avoid the frustration we’ve experience.————Review from 5 years ago: We leave our child there with great confidence every day. She has been there from 3 months old and we expect to keep her there until she heads to Kindergarten. The staff is warm and caring. The curriculum is enriching. And the food beats what I eat for breakfast and lunch!

This is a really great center. My infant daughter loves coming here--she's always so happy to see her teachers at drop-off everyday. The menu is also healthy (and looks tasty, too).

We've had a great experience so far! Our child seems to love it and is always happy at drop-off and pickup. Teachers and staff are wonderful, communication is great, and the menu is diverse and sounds delicious. The center is also doing a great job of implementing Covid protocols. We couldn't be happier with our decision.

Seneca Street BH is absolutely wonderful. My son has been here since he was 4 months old, and we have had nothing but wonderful experiences. They have navigated the pandemic by putting protocols in place for the safety of staff and families, and I have never once worried about the safety or well being of my son. The new leadership team is great at communicating any updates at the center, consistently engaging parents for feedback or suggestions, setting up Zoom parent teacher conferences, and having smooth transitions when moving up to different classrooms. If you’re wanting a place where your child is safe, loved, engaged in fun and stimulating activities, and introduced to a variety of healthy and nutritious foods- I cannot recommend Seneca Street BH more.

We didn't have a good experience at bright horizons Seneca st location. There are other locations with better accreditation as well as other companies that offer the same or better facilities or education programs. The teachers we delt with are wonderful and highly skilled. The problems we experienced have probably been delt with by now, but ...

This is a fantastic daycare. It felt like an extended family immediately and they take such great care of our toddler. The staff are loving and fun. The projects and activities they do even with the little ones are more than I could ever offer her. The structure and socialization are thoughtful and balanced. It’s a fun place with a very caring, communicative team who get to know the kids and babies very well. My daughter loves going!

My sons have been attending Bright Horizons at Seneca Street for more than two years and we have been very happy with our experience. The staff is all so caring and welcoming and the teachers have been fantastic. My kids have learned and grown so much and really enjoy the curriculum, facility and all of the friends they've made!

We love Bright Horizons Seneca street. The staff is so friendly and loving towards my son (17 months). All the teachers know him by name, even the ones who don't have him in class. His language development is insane. The activities that they get to do look super fun - collecting leaves in the fall and studying them, painting, drawing, tearing up paper, building towers, reading, etc. He knows how to follow rules in a positive way. They even get him to eat a wide variety of foods - which he won't do at home, so I know he's getting what he needs because of Bright Horizons. And they're so good at updating the app we can check in throughout the day. This is high-quality care.

The Bright Horizons at Seneca street combines a modern facility with an amazing staff. Our newborn enrolled here a few months ago and we have been blown away not just with the quality of care but also the warmth and expertise we receive when we (classic first-time parents) ask questions or bring up concerns. It's been a great experience from day one!
