“I came to the Grace Loves Lace in Ballard thinking I had found “the one” at a different shop. Boy was I wrong! Also, I accidentally invited 4 guests (1 over their suggested max), so I called the shop to see if anything could be done. They were super understanding and allowed my entire group to join me at the appointment!We were welcomed with such warmth, friendliness, and champagne! Melissa, my stylist was such a sweetheart. She was extremely supportive throughout the appointment— listening to my feedback, bonding with my bride squad, and suggesting gowns. At first I was concerned that the gowns wouldn’t suit me (I’m a mid-size curvy bride), but these gowns just hug you in all of the right places! It was game over once the veil came on and the tears started flowing.Overall I had an amazing experience thanks to Melissa and the GLL team. I am excited be a Grace Bride ❤️”
“They had a great selection of really affordable dresses in many sizes and styles. The only reason I didn’t end up buying from them was that I would have to do a fair amount of alterations to make it into the dress I’d want. I’d definitely recommend for a bride on a budget!”
“This shop was my first wedding dress appointment and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I worked primarily with Justys, who did a phenomenal job in every aspect. I am a midsized girl, and trying on clothes is not my favourite thing to do. I was pretty nervous and honestly much more dread-filled than excited at the prospect of dress shopping. Justys made me feel incredibly comfortable and really beautiful because she knew how to panel and clip each of the dresses I tried on to really fit the shape of my body.
La Belle Elaine's had a great selection of dresses within my price range (which was a sticker price below $2k), and Justys was wonderful with discretely and consistently keeping to my budget. She also did a great job of walking me through potential alteration options for the dresses I liked the most and giving cost estimations for those alterations.
I also think it's noteworthy to mention that I did do my dress appointment with a group of aunts and moms (a little more mature and a little more critical), who all really enjoyed their experience as guests.
My appointment truly felt like a special experience and exactly how you would want to feel choosing a wedding dress, which I hadn't realized would be so important to me. La Belle Elaine's set the standard for every dress appointment I had after, and I would absolutely recommend this shop to any bride to be, it ticks all the boxes for selection, pricing, staff (especially Justys, who I can't praise enough), and experience.”
