This post would have originally been a five but now it's a 3 because I'm not sure what happened at the end they tried to get my email address couldn't get it right it was a long day but the reason it's a three and not a five it's because clerk b was more concerned about the well-being of clerk a.

Had a bunch of questions about all the graffiti supplies. Art Primo gal told me to watch YouTube ?. Walked over to blick and all my questions were answered.

Very fun place to shop for art supplies. Staff took time to help us find what we were looking for. Great variety for most any artistic endeavors.

Wife said 4 out of 5 stars on today's visit only because they didn't have everything IN-STORE that she was looking for. Online- she can get whatever she wants with Blick. But the service was outstanding. One staff member didn't know where an item was located- so he got another staff member to assist.

Love buying art supplies. However, for the last 2 years I have been given gift certificates and each time I try to use them - once in store and once online -they actually add the gift amount to the total rather than subtract. Each time it took over an hour to straighten out. Please tell loved ones to never give a Blick gift certificate. In addition-the last 4 times I visited the store to take advantage of their custom frame sale - after selecting and placing a large order, they have a system computer failure. This happens so consistently that I doubt there ever is a real sale. Shop at Blick - but don’t get gift certificates and don’t fall for the frame sale ruse.

On blicks website is way more cheaper than the store. When I went in person to the store to save the shipping cost and the waiting time for the delivery . I was shocked when I saw that the cost of what I was going to buy online was double the cost in the store. I asked the cashier if she was going to honor the price as is stated on their website and she told me that it was not possible because she told me that she need to charge me the shipping cost and I told her: "what do you mean if I am here in the store you don't have to send me anything" and my surprise was even more when she told me that the customers have to pay of what the suppliers charge for shipping cost to send their items to blick store. I would never buy again on this store again, there is other cheaper options online the only downside is that you have to wait for the delivery and you may pay for shipping, but when you spend certain amount of money they may wave the shipping cost. I really miss Daniel Smith Store.

This was one of my favorite art supply stores. As a frequent customer I find myself dissatisfied with my most recent visits and will not return with my community support. I am well aware of the staff mostly consisting of art students over the years and that was a huge plus to hear the opinions of our future artists. This does not seem to be the environment there anymore. I asked for 2 products that were previously available only at this store. I was unfortunately and rudely told to look online. Seriously, this place needs fresh management in order to complete.

I've been coming here for years and have spent many thousands off dollars. Today I was treated so rudely I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I've been a successful professional painter for over 30 years. I know paints and brushes and all art supplies and I know exactly what I want. When I found out the 2 brushes I wanted of the house brand were over $40 I asked the associate if he could show me similar ones cheaper. He glared at me and showed me the 12 pack intended for pre schoolers and walked off smirking. I'm over 70 yrs old and I guess he assumed I was in kindergarten.I eventually found what I wanted and when I was checking out I told the cashier how rude the other employee was and he kind of chuckled and didn't say anything. I asked him if all customers were treated like that and he just glared back menacingly. If your employees are so contemptuous of artists that aren't rich maybe they should be working somewhere else. These two seemed like they hated people and hated working there. I wasn't asking for professional respect just common courtesy.I don't need to be mocked and insulted and laughed at because I wanted to buy paint brushes.

This is one of the filthiest, smelliest and unsafe places in Seattle. Everything, I mean everything is covered in graffiti that is often rated X. I will never go to downtown Seattle again. It is a lost city. Better to fence it off, write it off and let them all kill themselves off with their terrible ideas and morals. Seattle has gangrene and needs to be amputated or chalk it up to attrition. I dont see how anyone can bring it back.

They lost track of a pre-order for a print and frame that cost me over $300 and wouldn’t do anything about it. I’ve had tens of positive experiences with them, but losing $300+ reduces my review to 1 star. I won’t be going back and won’t refer anyone to them going forward.

I loved Blick Broadway until today and would routinely come down here in person a few times a year and spend 100-200+. with no problem. After paying to park and waiting for the store to open, I was told the restroom was “ not working.” And to go over to Cal Anderson where restrooms are padlocked shut. This is a Capitol Hill epidemic, now all the places where I would do errands are no longer willing to accommodate paying customers. Guess I will do my art shopping online…at Jerry’s

The staff were so kind and helpful! They has so many options for all types of art works. Much more than most stores around. Loved it.
