We had an amazing experience at Bertschi for many reasons. Bertschi provided the right balance of academic focus and social emotional coaching. Both are our boys were so excited to go to school every day to not only see their friends but also their teachers. Bertschi provided so many unique experience for our boys from running a market to participating in a wax museum to programming a disco robot party. We feel very lucky to be part of the Bertschi community.

Years before I ever met my wife or considered having children, I would ride by Bertschi on the bus in the morning and afternoon. One day I overheard another rider comment on how happy those kids always look. I thought it was an interesting thing to hear because it was sincere and without judgment. The next few weeks, I observed that statement to be accurate; months later, it still was valid. I thought to myself, if I do have children, I'd like them to have what those kids are experiencing. Flash forward many years, I'm married, and we are beginning to think about educational options for our son. I mentioned Bertschi and began to look into the world of an independent school. Ultimately we chose Bertschi for the same reason why I would highly recommend this school. From the tour to the application process, every interaction we encountered, we consistently saw happy, healthy kids enjoying their school. It is a magical place, and we are grateful for my son's phonemical educational experience, the fantastic teachers and staff, the community we've joined. I highly recommend this school; when we stepped on campus for the open house, we felt at home. I could give several reasons, and the simplest one is that your child will be happy going to school and leave school with a smile.

We love how the faculty and staff envelop our kids in love and support. The teachers have fantastic strategies and child management skills that help maximize the potential in our kids. Bertschi supports the needs of both my introverted elder and my extroverted younger; making school a place for both of them to grow and thrive. The school also provides a wide variety of experiences my children have enjoyed at Bertschi: the my eldest still talks about the robot he built with Joey in tech, while my middle son loved taking the stage in Tina's drama room. My youngest has regaled our family with stories of the landslide project he has been doing with John in science. It is astonishing to see how much our children grow and change under the tutelage of our fantastic faculty & staff.

We love Bertschi! We have two very different girls with varying interests and learning styles and Bertschi is able to help both of them thrive as a curious learner. My older daughter is not in fifth grade and we have seen her grown so much through the years. The teachers have all been amazing and each year our daughter misses the teachers she had the year before. We can't say enough about this amazing school.

Our kids run to the front gate every morning. That's how happy they are to be there, and I think that speaks volumes. Especially on a Monday morning.
