I never review things but I was just on hold for an hour and a half and as soon as I got through I could hear them but they didn’t even say hello to me before I hung up. The crazy thing is that it’s happened multiple times, I’m just finally too frustrated to not mention it.

Yesterday I called the Pharmacy to ask a question about a prescription. I waited on hold for 14 minutes but couldn't wait any longer. Then I'm the evening I tried again. I waited on hold and was told I was 4th in line... then 3rd... then 2nd. Finally after being onhold for 27 minutes the line started ringing. Someone picked up the phone without answering and immediately hung it back up! This is not the service we deserve for a Pharmacy, I'm going to have to take my prescriptions elsewhere. This isn't the first time this has happened either.

EDIT: The efficient staff are gone. The new ones are .... New and SLOOOW. Huge lines at 3pm, 5pm, lunch. Prescriptions not ready despite ordering 12 to 25 hours prior. Sorry, not good enough.
The store has suffered the usual low stock and morale as part of the Albertsons issues, but I have only high respect and commendations for the Pharmacy and store staff. Their pharmacist helped me quickly transfer prescriptions when supplies were low, and sourced another store where I could get a refill. The pharmacy assistant named Allison was incredibly efficient, getting through a long line of customers coming for Friday evening pickups with good cheer, speed and politeness. I have seen. Her do this twice! Very impressed. They also handled a drop in vaccination really easily. On the way out, the cashier saw me browsing and made product recommendations that led me to buy a locally made chocolate. I hope this team is recognized!

Bartell's used to be an amazing pharmacy. Ever since Rite Aid bought it, though, it has been terrible. You can never find anything in stock here. No tylenol, no kleenex, no otc drugs of any kind. It is a waste of time to go here unless you need a prescription filled.

I've been going to this Bartell's pharmacy for a couple years now and have had several medications go through them. Today they messed up with a vital medication. Here's what normally happens with this drug (for chronic nervous system pain): My doctor sends in the prescription (60 pills--taken twice a day for a month). Bartell's tells me it is ready for pick up. I pick it up. I request a refill. When it's out of refills and I request it, Bartell's notify's me of this and then reaches out to my doctor for a new prescription. Rinse and repeat. It's been going like this for several years with no changes
Here's what happened this time: I request a refill. Bartell's tells me it is ready. When I get there, I am told that I have reached the end of my prescription and there are only 20 pills left, so that is all they can give me. This is unusual and has never happened before, but I took the 20 pills. I assumed that they would reach out to my doctor for a new prescription as they had done pretty regularly for several years now.
I sent my doctor a message Friday afternoon to ensure that the prescription had been requested. I called Bartell's multiple times on Saturday and could not get through, so I ended up not being able to take the med on Sunday. I called them multiple times on Sunday with no answer. Monday morning rolls around and I feel like I have been hit by a freight train. I call Bartell's to make sure that the prescription is getting filled today.
They tell me my insurance has only authorized this specific med in 20 pill prescriptions and I have to call my insurance to figure out why. I call my insurance. They say that they said no such thing and call Bartell's to try and figure out where they are getting this info. The lady from my insurance gets through to Bartell's but says that they could not hear her. She tries three more times with the same result. I go into Bartell's. When I mention that I spoke to my insurance, I am told that it had nothing to do with my insurance and I just reached the end of my prescription. All that's left is 20 pills so that's all they can give me until I get a new one. I say, I was told that 10 days ago already. They tell me they never gave me 20 pills 10 days ago (WHAT?). Another lady says she was the only one taking phone calls all day and never spoke to me. I said that's not true.
Then they say that they did give me 20 pills ten days ago and somehow deleted that fact. Which means they have to take back the ones they just gave me because I need a new prescription I don't have but give me a 3 day emergency supply until I can get the prescription.
None of this makes any sense nor is in any way acceptable. I've been at this pharmacy for years, taking this specific med for a least a year. For the entirety of that time, they have contacted my doctor for a new prescription when it runs out. Now they decide to give me 20 pills, tell me my prescription has run out, don't contact my doctor for a new one, tell me my insurance won't cover more than 20 at a time (lie), back pedal and tell me I just reached the end of my prescription, tell me they never gave me 20 before (lie), tell me they never spoke to me literally 3 hours previous (lie), give me 20 pills, admit they messed something up by not noting they gave me 20 pills before, take those 20 pills back, give me a 3 day supply, and say "it's really crazy back here right now."
All the while, every single person is treating me with distrust/suspicion and has a "not my problem" attitude. I'm being being straight up lied to and feel gaslit. Never once did anyone just request a new prescription from my doctor like they have been for years! Someone messed up and, instead of fixing the problem or admitting fault, they just kept passing it on. No one along the way admitted saying or doing the wrong thing

Sent a very common prescription here, was told it’s out of stock and that I will be texted back when ready. 2 weeks later, still no text. So obviously I transferred that prescription somewhere else.

Made an appointment several weeks ago for a travel vaccine clinic, and they were not properly staffed and made me reschedule my visit for later.

Would give zero if possible. I've been using this pharmacy for a year now and every prescription I get takes hours to fill and is never ready when I arrive or at the time they say. They are consistently understaffed and unhelpful. They will often unplug their phone so they are unavailable to take calls, leaving you on hold for hours, forcing you to come in person to check your prescription status. I take public transportation so this is especially inconvenient and can result in me wasting many hours at the pharmacy. After my most recent visit, I will be switching to a different pharmacy and I recommend you do the same. I would prefer to deal with my medical ailments then interact with this pharmacy

I’ve called daily morning and evening to get an update on a medication I really really need to stay alive. I’m lucky I could borrow something from a friend. I went in to ask for any update on a recurring prescription only to be told to have a seat while they go through everyone else in line and still didn’t give me any answers. I eventually left because I couldn’t wait. I’m happy to chase down my meds, but this is ridiculous. I’ve been without this for 2 weeks and I need it.

Ever since Bartells sold to Rite Aid, it has gone completely down hill and this location is no exception. Nothing Ever on the shelves, co-vid happened 4 years ago, what is the excuse. Completely understaffed. Bartells used to be an awesome place to shop. Don't get me started on the wait times at the pharmacy....

I have called the pharmacy 15 times over 4 days now. They never answer the phone. It’s incredible how difficult this pharmacy is to work with. This cannot be a staffing issue, I’m pretty sure they just ignore the phone.
