I came in today to do a couple of things, no one was behind the counter and three people in line.I saw one person in another room that didn't want to come out and take care of us. I went to another bank. This is the second time this has happened. This bank is more convenient, but not the way it is run.

This branch serve clients based on difficulty level instead of coming order. I had to wait for them to help 4 other walk-in clients who came after me, whose request was easier than mine. My appointment was 10am and I was helped at 10:30am. They told me my wire would take 15 min so they need to help other people first to avoid long waiting lines. The front desk lady was extremely rude and said if I don’t want to wait I can go to other branches. Seriously??? I wish I could go to other branches if I had a choice. The guy who helped me was a newbie and he needed me to look at his computer together during the entire process, instead of asking me to confirm everything in the very end. Crazy experience.

If you want to have the worst customer service, you need to go to AGGI MBUYE counter. She would wear a jacket with hoodie, right ear with air pod , speaking foreign language with her friend, staring at the computer, and yet she will tell you hold on a second, she is helping another customer. But in 10 mins, she didn’t type once on the keyboard, not holding a business phone once. She’s continuously speaking on phone in foreign language till I asked how much longer I had to wait after 10 minsAre you shocked she was on personal call while she was at work as a teller? Yes I was . Should Bank of America fire her ? I think soOct 4th 2023 @ 1:25 pm Wedgewood branch

I went in yesterday to make a payment at this bank and the teller was extremely rude and not friendly. She recounted my money several times because my money was not neatly organized and was folded in the corners and I was patiently waiting. As soon as some people walk in and the line piles up the lady behind me started to talk and raise her voice and was in a rush. The teller was affected by the impatient lady and she started giving attitude and disrespectful, later I learned that she was the manger. The teller was being very slow and it was not my fault that customers were leaving because she had recount my money and she was slow at her job. She started to disrespect me and threw my money and said that she was going to call security if I didn’t leave and I was no threat to her in any way all I wanted to do is make a payment, she got mad and her madness increased as there was an impatient lady throwing comments behind me, she took out all her anger on me, threw my money and told me to leave and went to serve the next customer. This is extremely unprofessional for a manger and really disrespectful. This bank is on the same street of where I work and I have been going to them for years and I’ve never encountered this sort of discrimination and disrespect. I was patiently waiting and let her do her job and respected her until she pushed it, I took my money and left and I wasn’t able to make my payment. As soon as I left I called Bank of America and reported this to the head supervisor and made a report. Thurs Oct 5, 2023.

Rudest service I have ever received!!! I fel like she had an attitude the moment I walked in.The "manager" is the worstRepresentive of Bank of America I have ever encountered! Her name is Adji Adam MbayeI needed a signature witness. Not a notary though a notary would have sufficed. The manager (who represents herself as a certified notary) had me fill out the entire form and the first person she turned it over to filled in the form wrong.Easy mistake and she graciously went out of her way to help. She was great to me.I had to email her all the forms to have them re-printed and then filled them out afterwards because of the error. The manager finally appeared, but without pausing to be sure I didn't need her, quickly disappeared, telling me to come find her "when I was ready" 20 min later, she finalky came back .She briefly looked over my form, had me sign in her presence and immediately, without taking another look, told me she would not sign it!Said it had to ba a notary. This is false!I had already clairified it did not and ALL she had to do was confirm I was the person signing it.She refused. She said thay shenis indeed a notary bit that her seal was expired, with a nasty creeoy skile, like ahe was mocking me.The worst part was she knew going in she was not going to sjgn it and had me jump through all the hoops like it was some sort of passive agressive game to her.Was nasty, condescending, scoulding and RUDE!She kept interupting, cutting me off. Pushing her hand at me as she did to "shut me up"!She even scoulded her employee in front of me who was doing her best to help me.They are all terrified of her.Our family has been Bank of America customers for over 30 years. We have multiple accounts. It takes a lot of nasty attitude to get me to fill out a bad review. I generally give the benefits of the doubt but his was intentional.Like she had something to prove by dismissing me. I felt like she was racially biased toward me.I will be transferring to anotehr bank as soon as possible.

I would now give zero stars. They close at 4pm and aren't open on Saturday. If you're looking for a new bank don't choose this one.

Nice people, but only 1 teller working. Every time I need any help there is a 15+ minute wait. Thankfully I can do most banking online.

Had to wait 45 mins beyond our appointment time. Why give out appointments when you cannot keep them? They are grossly understaffed or staff are not efficient.

Downright awful bank and branch. Avoid if you value your time and/or sanity.I have been a B of A member for many years. I have a few different accounts linked to B of A, and it will be a hassle to switch over to a new bank. And yet...I'm leaving B of A as a customer as soon as I possibly can. Why?B of A is infuriating to deal with, and the Wedgwood branch in particular is truly bad. From the short hours to the long waits in line to the absolutely absurd acoustics in the branch which ensure that everyone in the building is able to hear every single word of your discussion with a bank employeee with crystal clear, near-surgical precision and clarity, whether that be in line, at the kiosk near the door or unbelievably, even in the offices.Yes, even sitting in one of the offices with the door closed, every word of your conversation will be heard by every other patron in the building. How is this possible? Well, you see, there is a 4 foot gap between the top of the office walls and the ceiling, and the acoustics are such that every word is bounced out of each office into the main area, much like some kind of a science museum gimmick. Incredible. So it's perfect for when you want complete strangers and neighbors to hear every detail of your finances in your discussion w/staff.Also, the hours. 10am to 4pm? What? And let's not forget the phone-based customer service. Call it and then listen to 45 seconds to a minute of B of A product advertising before being able to BEGIN attempting to use the correct keyword or phrase that the automated system will struggle to understand anyway.I've had it. Again, as soon as I can find the time, I'm transitioniing my funds and business to another bank. Yes it will be a hassle, but it's a price I will pay nonetheless. You've been warned.

This branch is grossly understaffed. Given their short hours , 10 to 4 and closed Saturday expect a long wait to do in person banking. Usually only one teller. I had to make two trips to the bank the same day recently and found at least 4 customers ahead of me which meant at least a 15+ minute wait both times. They seem to be aware of the problem since they have now provided stools for those waiting in line. Unfortunately only two stools which means a good many elderly customers are left standing. I suppose it would look odd to have the 4 or 5 stools that are needed. It is interesting to strike up conversations with others patiently waiting in line. The common theme of conversations is how bad the service has gotten for those of us who are long term customers. All of the above is bad enough, but it's nothing compared to the hassle to access your safe deposit box.

Customer for 50 years, plenty of money in bank in several checking & savings, SLC Account and Alaska Visa. First the teller quit giving the dog treats in the drive thru, then the drive thru teller was eliminated. Ordered checks after sitting with an employee to get more of what I had, I was assured they would be the same…they were not upon arrival. Asked for a check register…told to go on-line to buy one. Went in to cash a small third party check and there were 10 customers in line and we were told, by the manager standing around with an ipad, the only teller would be back in another 7 minutes when he finishes lunch. There were other bank employees in cubicles. Find another Bank.

If I could go negative I would but all I was trying to do was get 2 rolls of quarters to do laundry on Friday and was denied quarters since I’m not a Bank of America customer. I stood in line for about 10-15 minutes waiting just to be denied service. I use to come into this location before and during the pandemic to get quarters and I have never been a BOA customer.
