The worst location to go to, I almost always have a problem coming into this location. I have been banking with BOA for over 7 years now. And the customer service here is absolutely horrible. The last time I walked in for a business deposit that I actually do weekly. VU told me I can deposit at the machine I said I didn’t want to because I have “X” amount I need to deposit and she told me people at the machine deposit “25k, 50k” all the time. Why would I stand here with all my cash where the machine only take stacks of 75 bills at a time. This is just one experience here. There’s plenty more negative experiences I have here. Stay away from the branch. It’s the closest one to me and the only time I come here is when I absolutely don’t have time to drive to another location.

If I could I would give this branch 0 stars. I came here for an important notary appointment which I pre-scheduled. When I arrived, I was poorly greeted with a we are behind schedule comment, so they wouldnt be able to help at the scheduled time. Once I was attended to, they refused to help notarize a signature on a document with no resolution path. Not only was I treated poorly on an extremely important date for me and my family with a pre-scheduled appointment but there was zero attempt to explain to me why they wouldnt assist me or provide me with a solution so I could reach my deadlines.
Safe to say, if you need a reliable place to help with any important processes completed, I would not rely on this branch to help you get there.

VU N. Gave me a business card after hearing the distress SOUTH LAKE UNION BRANCH has put me and my family through, and still hasn’t helped.
BOA has let us down. I have an aunt with a very successful business around the US, and she said a personal banker has helped her experience, which gave me hope to stick around with BOA. But with my wife and I, here in Seattle at this location, we’ve been given hell.
I’ve banked with BOA for years. I’ve had various amounts of money in my account throughout the years. I’ve made special requests for withdrawals that requires BRINKS trucks to bring the money.
So I was surprised by the treatment I received here at this branch. I cashed a check for a property I sold, last March 2023! The clerks happily took my check, and were happy to ask questions about the property I sold.
Fast forward the check cleared a week later, as EXPECTED! I went in the bank and made a request for a brinks truck, like I’ve done in the past. Long story short, she asked “are you leaving us?”, as in, no longer banking with BOA, which makes no sense because there would be a hefty amount in my account still. I told her, “No. I just needed this amount of cash !”. She whispered to her superiors, and They reversed my check, and told me I have to wait for it to clear in APRIL 2023. Once April came, they pushed it back. They violated my right to know what is going on with my money, and never gave a reasonable time frame to give my money back. According to the OCC, and CFPB guidelines, they’re illegally holding my money. It’s definitely racially motivated, and disgusting.
Afterwards, the news broke that BOA was sued and FINED. That definitely didn’t help my nerves after being scammed my the bank!
I foolishly put hard earned cash, into my account with BOA while my CHECK was still 3 months PAST NOT “clearing”. I ONLY ADDED MONEY, because I felt they would do right, and would clear my check in July 2023, which became the newest date. They were giving me an illegal run around for my money.
After putting money in my account, I went to Vegas end of JULY, and a nightclub had my card on file, while my family & I paid the nightclub with cash collected from everyone in our group. The business gave us a receipt for the FULLY PAID, cash payment.
The waitress charged my card as well for the FULL amount, we had already paid as a group in cash! I tried to have everything settled with the accountant of the night club, and they gave me the run around and told me the girl was “fired” and they apologized. I had no choice but to report it to BOA, and give a police report to BOA about the incident of the night club STEALING FROM ME, so BOA sent me a brand new card!
IN SEPTEMBER 2023, They wanted to “process” THE report, so boa decided to not only drag their feet on the CHARGEBACK, but also put a hold on my AVAILABLE FUNDS, leaving me with $0.
Why? Why do you insist on stealing from small businesses… SMALL MINORITY OWNED BUSINESSES!
I checked my balance, October 2023, to see if any progress was made, and my balance was in the negatives. Nothing added, from everything they stolen and wanted to “process”. Why would I put money in an account that MY BANK KEEPS STEALING FROM? Why would I put money in an account, that BOA thinks is okay to racially discriminate and treat me like a criminal after all the business I’ve given them? You left me with $0, and expected me to add MORE money to stay afloat? Now I’m over drafted and money isn’t “processed” in my account!
2024 is the year that BOA will either, do what’s right without further DAMAGES because they realized their employees are making the business look bad and lose profits, OR have the attorney general, OCC, federal reserve, and CFPB, contacting them for answers!
Stop discriminating, violating people’s rights, stealing, and rewarding horrible behavior on behalf of your employees .

hello good evening I visiting today Bank of America in downtown Seattle but almost I wait like one hour I talk to her some someone I want to talk to the supervisor and she told me you have to wait three hours but it’s not fair that’s why I don’t like Bank of America?

My husband and I have had a great experience at this BOA branch! Vu was very helpful, the location was convenient, and the office felt very welcoming. They took care of everything we needed and we were in and out in just 30 minutes. I love an efficient bank!

The response to not being able to access this bank is there is online and other facilities but i have a safe deposit box and no way to access it.

December 2020I first dealt with Mitchell in the Queen Anne outlet as this one was renovated. During my first visit, Mitchell was helpful enough to get my account set up. I had asked him beforehand whether I would be able to walk out that day with a working card/account/apple pay. He said yes, but that did not happen. I was also in a rush, but mind you, we were setting the account up which took 1.5 hours at that point. I left without being able to use my apple pay and had to wait for my card. I felt misinformed.Fast forward to June 2021 :The South Lake Union branch is newly opened and I came in to add my husband to my account. Everything went well. I was helped by Noah (if I am not mistaken). However, this is where the problem occurs, I had to wait about one month for my husband’s card and I still (to this date) have not gotten that sorted out.Latest update (25 July) :Finally I requested to switch bankers because Mitchell is just so unresponsive to my messages / calls. It’s just so hard to get a hold of him to ensure my problems be fixed. At the end, Noah (their branch manager) called me and I went to this branch to fix things and request a new card with the correct name. However, still no replies from Mitchell, no acknowledgment that my message has been read and of course my issues were not addressed.This is what happens when you open an account with Bank of America. They will follow up with you on opening other accounts or credit card but the after service is just not recommended at all.So my experience has been meh. I’m thinking of switching banks if these problems continue in the future. Simply is not worth the stress at all.

I’ve had a great experience with BOFA overall. Geoff and Ritika were very patient, kind and extremely helpful! I would strongly suggest using Bank of America in this particular location.

I wanted to go to the other FC opened on Saturday in downtown but I was worried it might be too busy so I ended up chosing this FC and I am so glad I made the right choice.
1. It is easy to make an appointment for the next day - a lot of free time slots in the whole week you can choose. You don’t have such a luck if you try it for the bigger FC in downtown .
2. BOA confirmed my appointment through both email and call before 15 mins. Very sweet!
3. The concierge, relationship manager and his boss are all very friendly and helpful!
4. For transactions more complicated like wire transfer to overseas acc., don’t waste time doing it online or waiting hours on hotlines. Come to FC and let the experts sort it out for you in the shortest time with officially confirmation.
Awesome experience !
