I’ve been going to Bang off and on for a few years and always have had a great experience! However the most recent visit is why I wish I could give more than 5 stars!!!
During one of the worst weeks of my life I scheduled a blowout with Christian (girl math). Not only did Christian double wash my hair (I was injured and hadn’t washed my hair in days) and give me a perfect blowout, but he also made everything better. He knew I wasn’t doing so well and distracted me with conversation about cats and relationships. He laughed at my stories and was just a joy to be around. I owe him so much for being there on that terrible day. Luckily I already have a consultation booked with him (thinking of adding some pink ☺️) so many more glowing reviews to come.

Appointment with Christian!
I’ve been growing out my hair for a few years and was really nervous about letting someone work on it. I’m so glad I ended up in his chair!
He asked me all about my hair history and gave me exactly what I wanted!
Can’t recommend enough!

I had such a great experience with Christian. He made me feel so comfortable while cutting my hair. He is so calming and super attentive. I highly recommend for those looking for a more complex cut. He did an amazing job, and I feel/look so good :)

Alexis took great care throughout my entire experience with them today which resulted in what I think is best haircut I’ve ever received. They were friendly, professional, communicative, knowledgeable, and the way they massaged my scalp while washing my hair ?? so relaxing. What a treat!
Requested style: I requested a mod haircut.
Hair type: My hair is fine, medium-high density, mostly straight.

I got my hair cut here earlier this month by Meg and the entire experience was incredible. The atmosphere was so welcoming and friendly and comfortable. Above all they totally understood exactly what I was looking for and gave me the best haircut I've had in YEARS. I'm obsessed. I will 100% be going back.

Fantastic salon with the friendliest and most welcoming people! Parking is a breeze if you use the parking garage just down the street. Adria is amazing, she’s my stylist. She’s very knowledgeable about the science behind dying hair. I’ve learned so much from her. She also works diligently to make sure your hair doesn’t get damaged. She has a very warm personality and makes you feel right at home in her chair! Whether you want to chat it up or just go silent and enjoy the service. My hair always looks and feels amazing after getting a service from here. Adria is my go to and I trust her more than anyone with my hair, and to help me reach my hair goals! If I could give more stars I would.

My haircut with Christian at Bang Pike is truly the best salon experience I've ever had in my life. I expressed at the beginning of our consultation that I'm always anxious to get haircuts. Christian took the time to thoroughly explain his plan for my haircut based on the style that I asked for. I appreciated that he asked how I felt about each step he would take during the haircut. Alongside his skills as a compassionate listener, Christian is an amazing stylist with a profound understanding of haircare and hairstyling. He skillfully layered my hair and brought out my natural waves in a way that I've never seen a stylist achieve so well.
I absolutely recommend Christian to anyone looking for a great salon experience with an amazing stylist.
Hair type: I have natural virgin brunette hair with some grey, likely type 2B or 2C. My hair is responsive to moisture, creating waves and volume.

Got my hair done by the wonderful Adria— she is so talented with color scape!
I really wanted a pastel mix& she sure did it& it was beautiful! It only took 3 hours for 5 different colors, and it looked absolutely dazzling. The only thing I was disappointed in was the fact that the color in this particular job washed out in 3 washes- not sure if it’s due to my hair just not taking the pastel, or if it’s the brand being used?
If you want pastels maybe try doing a test strip to see how your hair takes and then moving forward from there?
Over all the price was good for a 3 hour job& if you want more permanent dyes, then Adria is definitely your gal! Professional and creative !

I've been seeing Christian for almost 1 year now and can't recommend him enough (cuts, color, brunette to blonde and vice versa, blow outs) -- which is rare for me to say... I never can find a stylist that understands what I want done to my hair AND is also the right vibe.
Christian easily ebbs and flows with me on whatever changes I want to make - he never rushes me into a decision or makes a decision for me, rather guides me in the direction I'm looking to go. He's never in a rush, and never makes me feel like I'm being annoying or a pain for making changes or asking for things (all past experiences I've had). He always explains what he's doing or what the process is, which I appreciate.
He's super skilled and very detailed, and totally the right vibe. I'm chatty, but I also like to chill. We can have some dope, in depth conversations, but when I'm nodding off or just want to chill in peace, he's down for that too.
Honestly, even though I don't do any sort of crazy cuts or rainbow colors, I feel like Christian can do anything you come to him for, and at an expert level.
