I have a beautiful cotton full-lace wedding dress that now fits perfect, thanks to Svetlana. She had wise recommendations, she was clear and so very kind. She brought the dress in at the waist and hip and added a bustle for an extremely reasonable price. She also did it all on a very tight timeline (within three weeks!) so that I could head off to my elopement without having to pay rush fees.
She made the whole experience easy!

I can’t recommend Svetlana enough! She did all of the alterations for my wedding dress and was amazing to work with. She is warm, super skilled and lovely to work with. In addition to fitting the dress to my size, her work included reapplying a complex lace after hemming and cutting my train - transforming a more formal dress into a dress more fitting for an outdoor wedding. She has the hands of an angel and is reasonably priced, especially within the Seattle market. Go with Svetlana!!

This is the place to go if you need a wedding dress altered. Svetlana is not only the sweetest human on the face of this planet, but she works absolute magic with dress alterations. The entire process was so easy- she was able to get me in for an appointment quickly, was transparent about what the alterations would cost, and made my dress fit me perfectly. I highly recommend Svetlana for alterations- she is quite literally the best!

Svetlana really goes above and beyond to make your dress perfect. I wouldn’t trust any other alteration person besides her! I was having trouble trying to figure out how to alter my wedding dress until I met her. Her honesty and compassion is really appreciated, and she cares about her work. I came in from Alaska, and she worked day and night to help make my wedding dress perfect; I owe her so much for it and wish I could give her more stars! She really was a miracle worker since the dress fit perfect afterward. I highly recommend her to anyone in the Seattle area that lives locally. I plan to do all my future alterations with her and am so thankful she was willing to work with me.

Very pleased with a result! I bought a dress at Anthro which required complex hem work, it’s got different lengths and four sets of ruffles coming down from the waist. I called a couple of places in the area and ended up choosing Sveltana at this alterations place who did an amazing job because she has the right experience and skills… and the price is fair!

I went in to have my suit altered and am very happy with the results. I did a walk-in near the end of the business day and picked up my suit one week later. The prices are average for the industry. It was about $250 to have my two piece suit adjusted after it was made by a different company.

Svetlana is amazing, just as all the other reviewers have mentioned. She was able to fit me in the day I called & she had my alterations done within a month. Everywhere else I called gave me the run around, saying my wedding date was too soon (2 months out) for them to get my alterations done. I was so panicked until I read all the reviews of happy brides saying how she saved the day for them & worked her magic so fast! So glad she could do the same for me! Her fee was reasonable & her customer service was excellent. My gown is soooo perfect now! She also took the time to teach my daughter how to attach & detach the bustle on my train. Thank you!!!

Svetlana was an absolute pleasure to work with!! I had a very "poofy" dress for a wedding ceremony that had a lot of tulle and complications that I needed to have altered. She made the whole process a breeze, and it was clear throughout that she is an extremely skilled, honest, and kind person. Absolutely the best alterations experience I have ever had - I will be back!

Brought in my halter top prom dress to get straps added to the back. Svetlana was very kind and honest with her advice on what could work for the dress. She got it done on such short notice (less than a week) and she even worked with the difficult fabric I'd brought in.
Her pricing was very reasonable for the service ($80-$130) and she insisted I get it discounted. The work snatched my waist just how I'd wanted and she brought me back in after the fitting when the strap length wasn't adequate. I cannot stess how kind and accommodating she was, I went in nervous about getting something altered for the first time and left with a surrogate grandmother. Would recommend to absolutely anyone getting alterations.

This is the best alterations place. I came here to fix another seamstresses work on my wedding dress in 2018 and wish I brought it here first. She also let out a delicate vintage jacket for that day as well. Her prices are far more reasonably priced, with such care put into every item. It’s truly the only place I trust with my most loved items.

If i could give 6 stars I would!
Svetlana was absolutely amazing, I had a really gig task of taking off the entire lace collar and sleeves of this dress I have and I went to at least 10 different places and Svetlana was the only person who would do this for me, and the results speak for themselves i mean look at it! I am beyond happy with the result, not to mention how caring and loving Svetlana is! She was so attentive to what I wanted and worked around my schedule, I needed the dress on very short notice and she made it happen!!
I really can’t describe how amazing this experience was she went absolutely above and beyond. 5 stars
