Incompetent is the word that comes to mind. I placed an order online because my credit card offered a cash back policy if I purchased through their link. The order was then canceled, and the accompanying email stated they could not fulfill it. So I went up the the store, and there were the items I had tried to purchase on the shelf. So I bought them because I needed them, but now I don't get my cash back. I am moving so my expenses are higher than average, and the cash back deal was a way for me to manage the credit card spending ever so slightly, but because the staff here could not find a basic items, that it took me less than one minute to find, I cannot use that to help me manage my spending.

Just reading other people’s reviews makes me want to avoid Ace Hardware in WA. I’m from AZ and when I entered the Ace in Tucson, I was greeted and asked if they could help me find something. Never once was I treated rudely. They would call employees on their walkie- talkies and get you help. “Head over to isle 12 and Bob will meet you there”. In WA, employees ignore you. You could be searching for an item and an employee would walk by without a word. Seattle freeze can be experienced at your local ACE.

A quiet Thursday at the Ace Hardware store. I got great assistance, and they made me a couple keys and sent me on my way. I rarely leave this store without what I needed.

Oddly rude to teenage customers. I get that the stereotype is that they steal and are up to no good but for goodness sake the staff is incredibly rude about it. Went in there with a group of three people when I was like 16 a few years ago and some very harsh words involving how our parents brought us up and how we didn’t listen were thrown at us when we just didn’t see the sign at the front restricting it to two students at a time. We were just going to look at some signs to get for a friend’s room, and the comments were extremely unnecessary and demeaning. We would’ve listened if someone had approached us politely and mentioned this and gone in separately. It was our fault for not reading the sign, however the reaction to this was very insulting, not only to us, but how we were raised and it was frankly terrifying at the time.

Helpful staff, when you can find them, and pretty good deals on things. The staff levels in store have always been problematic, and it remains my biggest point of constructive feedback.

Magnolia Ace Hardware is a great neighborhood hardware. They always have the items on my shopping list and the staff is very knowledgeable and helpful.

Really rude help and terrible customer service. People were unfriendly, refused to honor the price that was listed. They acted as if they were doing us a big favor by letting us buy something at their store.

Great little local Ace for the Magnolia area. You'll find all the essentials along with a few added extras scattered around. We come here first when starting any home projects and can fill in the gaps with either Home Depot or online orders once in a while.

I went into the store on Saturday, July 1 to request help/advice on removing caulk from 20 windows. A very tall man took me to the area to show me what was avail. He offered 1 suggestion, could not tell me how much I would need to purchase and advised me to "Just go to the home depot parking lot and hire someone there to do it." He then proceeded to walk away.I then overheard him with another customer telling him he could not help him with his paint albeit another employee had told the customer he could receive help at the front of the store. As a business owner myself, if I had an employee providing that type of customer service, they would soon find themselves out of a job.
