Tweedy and Popp Ace Hardware at Lake City is a friendly, well-stocked hardware store. It is far closer to the neighborhood than big-box stores and is the only hardware store in the area. The store has a great inventory with a pretty good variety of common products people need. It is highly visible, with plentiful and handicapped-friendly parking. The staff is knowledgeable, warm, pleasant, and offers far more and friendlier service, giving a Ma and Pa store feel. The store is also known for its friendly little dog mascot. It is a godsend and is highly recommended.

They pack a lot into a relatively small store, focus on the products most of us need in our homes, are far closer to my neighborhood than big-box stores and offer far more and friendlier service. I love Tweedy and Popp Ace Hardware.
