I had this company come out to my business to see if they could help set up a NVR receiver with the cameras that were already in place. $50 charge to come out and they kept my card information on file. When the person who came out and arrived for the job, they had very little understanding of networking. I basically watched this person fail to connect the NVR receiver to the network and could not configure his own camera to a brand new receiver. After two hours I decided to just have him stop working because I wasn’t going to pay for this person to learn on my billed time. When he left, he tried to charge me in person when I had already asked them to keep my business card on file. The person was persistent that I pay him on his swiper he had in his phone. I called his boss and told him I had made it clear that the business card on file needed to be used and he assured me that they billed me for the time and the fee to come out. I had no luck and was not satisfied with the customer service that the person on the phone gave me as well. Overall, this was not the best experience and I paid $300 for no resolution.

I have been a client since 2017, and used their system in three different homes. Over the last couple of months, just after we renewed our multi-year contract, both my motion detectors and glass break system failed. When I contacted the office to get this set up, I was treated so rudely by their staff (Matthew in particular) that I was left in near tears. It's hard to explain how it feels when you no longer feel safe in your home. But I can tell you that I no longer have confidence in their security services, and no longer believe that they have any interest in the safety of my home or my family. They used to be great, but no longer. I do not recommend them and we are now looking at canceling our contract and going with a difference company. I'm just not going to put my family's well-being at risk.

I had an urgent matter and Absolute Security made the camera installation a priority. They were professional, friendly and fast - a pleasure to do business with. Over the years, they have always been responsive to my questions. Their customer service and professionalism are hard to beat. I highly recommend them!

We bought a new house (new construction) into which the builder had installed panels, door sensors and motion sensors. I wanted to re-use the installed equipment versus replace everything. I spoke with Absolute on the phone and they understood my situation perfectly and explained my options for activating the alarm and setting up remote monitoring using my existing equipment. Edgar came out to do the install - he was exceptionally knowledgable and competent. The alarm was extended to support Alarm.com and remote monitoring. I had a couple of reasons to follow up with Absolute by phone and mail - they responded instantly and were very invested in helping. This is an example of a great small company that very clearly cares about customer service. I recommend them without hesitation.

Had an alarm.com system installed with a Qolsys panel. While I didn't have an initial walkthrough, our electrician TJ was great. I initially only had 4 contact sensors and kept asking TJ if I could ones here and there. Even though he had a couple jobs after mine, he happily installed the additional ones that ate up a bit of his time. I will update this review if there are service issues, but I'm doubtful. Please read your contract before you blame them for additional costs. Thanks for the install and system walkthrough TJ, keep up the good work!

We had a great experience with Absolute Security Alarms. Our sales representative was profession and answered all of our questions, and we were completely involved in the system design & install. The installer maybe CJ? (I feel terrible that I can't remember his name) was professional, courteous, and very easy to communicate with. He so kind was my 3 year old daughter and entertained her (when it was time to install her room's security system, he got her attention so she could hear the system say her name), it was really kind and clever. We did not have to worry about any motion sensor, door, window installations he took care of everything! I would really recommend using them for home security.

We never had a problem with Absolute Security until we did. We were with them for 5 years when the alarm.com app stopped working we were told that the cell towers were switching to 5G and that they would have to install new radio in our control panel and charge us $150 for it. We were in our 2nd year of a second three year contract and I felt they should upgrade us for free. I was told that it's in the contract and they wouldn't . I said I would take my business elsewhere and and leave a review. He said are you threatening me I said no but that people should know what kind of business they are dealing with, at which point he threatened me with "I'll return the favor" what ever that means. I asked if we were under contract he said were weren't (turns out we were) and I could get a rebate. When the rebate came they charged us for 23 batteries they had installed in the past and had not charged us for at $5.00 each! A door window contact for $75.00 and a $10.00 permit fee. I found another company that is local and cheaper and only a year contract and if you pay in advance they give you a free month. Plus it's 4G and good till 2030. The alarm these people installed is phenomenal not only does it do a great job at my security but it also does some really cool home control stuff that I did not expect from my alarm system. I added some lights and a door lock I can control from my phone. The service response time has been beyond expected I had a problem with my door contact and they had someone out the same day to fix it. This family company really do a great job ! Thank you for your awesome service.
