As expected, fast check in and check out. Car and fees are as expected, no surprise fees.

Be extremely careful about stressing that, unless you want additional insurance, you DO NOT want it, and read everything they make you sign extremely closely. We thought we were careful when we picked up our car, I said repeatedly that the insurance I have is more than enough. Fast forward a week and we return the car, and I find I've been charged almost $250 for supplemental insurance, and apparently the documents I signed agreed with that, so there was nothing they could do. The contract was clear as mud, and I could have sworn I was saying I didn't want additional insurance when I signed it, but apparently not. Caveat emptor.
The car was fine, worked normally, no one tried to bamboozle us on the gas level or anything, but that insurance mix up was pretty expensive.

We received an unsafe car and no responses to a request for assistance submitted via Thrifty’s website.
-Car had tint film applied poorly to the back window in the resulting lack of visibility out the back of the car made it nearly impossible to drive safely at night.
-Heavy tint on both of the back passenger windows made it difficult to check blind spots.
-There was some sort of leak in the front passenger foot. Well carpets were soaked after a day of rain.
-Each time we shut the car down, we received a message that there was a battery drain that needed to be fixed. (see attached photo).
-We received multiple warnings that the batteries in the key fob needed to be changed. Fortunately, it continued to work throughout our rental.
-on September 25, we sent an email via Thrifty’s website asking for assistance or replacement car. We still have not received a response.
Extremely disappointed with our experience at Thrifty.
Update:
-I visited the link posted below. This is the generic "Support" site for Thrifty and offers general information about the process of renting, etc. Unfortunately, it is the same site I used to provide my initial concerns about my rental. It is not helpful at this point and does not provide me with any additional information. Thrifty has now asked me to do additional work to look through a website rather than to simply provide assistance and support. If they truly wanted an opportunity to review our concerns, they would have simply read the concerns I raised a week ago.
We will not rent with Thrifty again and would recommend that others also do not rent with Thrifty.

First, it's not just me. Thrifty's rating with the Better Business Bureau is an F. Do NOT expect a reserved rental to be available. I reserved using Wisecars (a third party service) - a huge mistake. When I got to the Thrifty counter, I was told my reservation had been cancelled. I told the representative that I had been in contact with Wisecars that morning, and they said I was all set.
I communicated with Wisecars again. The agent said this is a known problem with Thrifty. When I asked why they would do business with them if this is a known problem, they said it's been happening only for a couple of days. (Stay away from them too.)
They said they could get me another car, but it would take HOURS. Thrifty would not offer me a replacement even though I showed proof of my reservation. I supposedly was speaking with the agent in charge.
I was given a business card of Lori Pelto, senior operations manager. She didn't answer her phone and never returned my call. I went to the next company, Hertz. I was told that Thrifty is their sister company. They would give me a car . . . for $287 MORE than what I had reserved ($400 for a five day rental). I made my way down the line and rented from Fox who took great care of me.

One rep working during busy hours. Waited in line for 30 minutes. I guess that's why they're the cheapest... They don't pay staff.

Absolutely horrible service! We got a tire after having the car for less than an hour. Called and they said we had to take the vehicle to a discount tire. We were unable to drive the car for 4 hours. Wast of our time and money. We didn't get to see anything we wanted to see. As a travel agent I will never recommend them to my clients and will highly discourage using Thrifty no matter how cheap their cars are!!!

The rental process was smooth, with no issues during pick-up or drop-off. Sam was very helpful and kind. I thoroughly enjoyed driving the 2024 Toyota Crown.

If there would be an option to give zero, I would !!! It was the worst experience with car rental in whole US and I will share my experience everywhere I go.
1. We have waited for more than a 1 hour in a line for a car after 24 hours of traveling.
2. We booked nice pickup. We received almost 15 years old Dodge Ram in terrible shape and in the basic equipment. Trash.
3. Ma'dam behind a counter basically forced us to pay 90$ for road assistance. Even though I told her I don't want it, she insisted and was persuading me that long, until I said Ok. She even used a google to show me how expensive is tow service in Washington state. Of course it was a waste of money.
4. When I was returning my car, I forgot to fill up the tank. I would expect that they will charge me filling the tank for regular rate + small additional fee. They charged me 216.22$ !! Full tank is approximately 80$. That is absolute theft !
Rental Agreement No: 374093090
Reservation ID: K8422169217
NEVER AGAIN !!!!

A short wait but friendly staff, clear directions and a well-kept upgraded vehicle that was a pleasure to drive. A pretty competitive price, but a little ‘strong-arm’ tactics on the roadside insurance

Just spent ages going through their self check-in, didn’t bother joining the queue, after a lengthy check-in process got to the final step and was told to go to the counter which by this point had built a healthy queue. System needs overhaul.

They are Liars! The lady from Fiji at the thrifty car rental at Seattle airport is a con.. She gave us a total amount and said this is all that you pay… and now when I got the final receipt it is way more than what she had mentioned… there is no customer service number where I can call and get clarification… they are cheats!

Do not use them in any circumstances. First I did my check in online and I was supposed to pick up the car directly. It didn’t work so I had to go through the desk and the agent would not stop insisting to sell me insurance.
SECONDLY, and this one is unbelievable, the weekly rate when we pick up our car was $799. On the invoice that we received after our car drop off, the weekly rate had gone up to…. $2459.59 !!!! I need explanations from this scam but the customer service does not seem to care.

This place will add additional charges after anything an associate says. Make sure you verify the receipt with them. They will add charges not agreed to. Worst car rental experience.
