The store says they cannot update Google Maps Update to indicate they ran out of ice and batteries. Only corporate can. Status updates would be useful during storms and emergencies.

Very often understaffed even during busy times. One person up front managing self-checkout and that's it - so, hope you like doing self-checkout of $200 in groceries because there's often not enough people working to have anyone at a register.
The workers do a great job but there's just too often not enough of them to go around.
You'd think good customer service would be important enough to keep the store properly staffed during business hours, but the owner of this Safeway apparently disagrees.
UPDATE: lately I noticed they're doing a little bit better at this.

1) Their prices are consistently higher than the others.
2) They don’t have a price check option.
3) The middle-aged female employee manning the self-checkout area always starts looking into bags whenever there’s a problem with an item scan. I understand she is there to prevent shoplifting, but the self-checkout machines are problematic and lock up for trivial issues like not putting an item in the bag. This employee is supposed to assist customers, not launch a murder investigation. I hope she’s fired.

Store is well maintained!. My experience was not pleasant at the counter as it was full of doubting throughout and still maintained that !

I made a mistake of using Safeway restroom and the smell is going to haunt for days.. Now I can smell the filth even when I encounter the Safeway logo.
Exotic fruit collection was good, did not buy as the fruits did not look fresh enough. It maybe just me as I don’t know how to pick a fresh exotic fruit.

Horrible customer service at the deli today stood there for 20 minutes waiting to be helped and then had to walk over to a different lady at the deli and asked if someone could help me and all she said was the lady went to lunch this is not the first time this has happened

The manager here is very nice. Very helpful employees. Deli is clean!!! Safeway doesn't sell enough dairy free stuff for me, other than that, this one's great! I shop here often.

My favorite Safeway.
It has everything and employees are very polite.
It has a bakery, lottery, medicines, vegetables area, Starbucks, etc.
Our weekly groceries run on this place.
