We had our first session and our dog can be a bit nervous, and due to that we can be a bit nervous leaving him places. They took wonderful care of him, made sure he was comfortable and his hair cut is one of the best, if not the best he's had. We have been having him groomed with mobile groomers but discovered the cost here is competitive, if not cheaper and the quality of work far exceeds our experiences with the mobile groomers.
As long as our dog is with us and we live in the area, we will be using A Fur Affair.

I have recommended A Fur Affair to several neighbors, I would continue to use them however it was apparent the groomer I requested was no longer providing her care. When I complained they no longer returned my calls to set appointments. Marisa is wonderful! I didn't realize owners aren't allowed to request a specific groomer? Or be informed of a change in groomer without my knowledge. Before complaining about different groomers I would have given them 5 stars plus.

I had to find another groomer after my 3-year old goldendoodle started reacting fearfully to my previous long-term groomer. I gave this place a shot and it’s been great! Kaori does an awesome job and my dog is back to his normal (excitable) self when I take him to the groomer. Thanks Kaori and the rest of the team at A Fur Affair!

We moved out of the area but I have continued to bring my four dogs to Marissa. It's not an easy trek but she does a good job and the dogs are excited when they hear her name. I have one pet that has some medical issues and she does such a good job with him, so patient.

Marissa always does a great job. We drive 30+/- min for our two poms to get a scissor trim. Always so kind and in a great mood.

Fur Affair is the holy grail of dog grooming! We have had golden retrievers since 1997 and this place is by far the best grooming salon for our goldens they hit the spot!! Our golden is just so beautiful, they did everything with his undercoat, he looks amazing thank you!!!!!!!!! Astrid is a great communicator !

I bumped into the owner Astrid when I was desperately searching for a good groomer for my bichon puppy. I was lucky to meet her. She didn't just take my job immediately but instead she introduced me to a groomer who she thought would do a perfect job for a bichon head. However after I was turned down because of the availability, she took me in and introduced her groomer Marrisa to help me. We did our first proper grooming today and I can barely recognize my baby. He looks so neat and cute now. We are still looking to have him fully grown into a bichon head but I can see how much work she has put onto this. I really appreciate it. Thank you Astrid and Marrisa.
