“We visited this post office to get our passports. Leon, the post master, was helpful, polite, friendly and has excellent customer service. We tried a few others but you could feel the level of stress and lack of politeness. Even hearing the other employee talking, she was so nice and patient. I really recommend this post office for both appointments and walk-ins like us.”

“The scary bad reviews for the Yelm location made me want to make the drive out to this post office and wow it was a great experience. Parking lot was almost empty and only one person was ahead of me in line on a Thursday morning. SO easy and chill, worker was so nice and I got in and out super fast! Coming here every time in the future!”
“I was lucky to go to the post office when there were only 3 people in line. I had 12 large manilla envelopes to mail. It took 10 minutes from entering the post office to getting back into my car. Service was pleasant. There are so many questions and answers for mailing each packet, it gets kind of confusing if you are tired. The good news is that I mailed everything I needed to! It was a good time to go at 3 pm.”

“Business hours on their website are wrong as they have different hours for the counter, access to boxes and parcel pickup. The staff here are definitely more helpful and friendly than your average government agency. Very good as far as making sure the mail gets where it needs to go. Lines can get a bit long during peak hours so best to visit outside of them if you can.”
“I went into today (Jan 31st) and I had the young lady help me fix an issue with a package being shipped to me. She was wonderful. Give her a raise. I was dressed in all brown while on the clock.”

“I've had good experiences here, always been treated with respect over the years by all employees. I just time my trips between their required breaks or lunch, and everything has been chill. The wait is usually only a couple of minutes for service.”
“My family and I have used this post office since 1962 we have not had the mis haps that all these comments have had. To be real, this yelm area has exploded with residents in the past 5 to 10 years and our post office is still greatly understaffed. I was field technician, we had contracts with the USPS in three states just to keep all the vehicles that deliver your mail would be safe and reliable. They are even understaffed in the mechanics shop of the USPS. Thatsvwhy they contract help from mobile fleet companies for vehicle maintenance. So in short these workers may be over worked with the volume of residents that yelm area has grown to. Let's all be more patient with ourselves and others!”
