Went to pick up a prescription after work and waiting in the line for like 10 minutes and got up to the window at 5:59 they refused to let us pick up our prescription. There was three other people behind us in line. Super unprofessional. Better off going to the rite aid across the street.

Just listened to a gentleman in the drive through pharmacy ask about his medication and was denied it. After I grabbed my meds and left, I saw him in his car on the side of the road looking to be in distress by himself. Whatever the pharmacist or staff said to him and denied him for, I think they need to figure out some logistical issues. I have had medicines say I picked them up on wrong dates that the pharmacy wasn't even open on. Thankfully my doctors office was able to provide proof and the discrepancy was fixed. Seems like this place has drastically gone down hill. I was treated nice, but that gentleman I front of me definitely was not, and it sounded like the staff was laughing? That is exceptionally rude and unacceptable in the medical field. I hope he is okay, and doesn't have a medical emergency due to negligent discrepancies. We hardly shop here anymore or get our prescriptions due to long wait times all day, everyday and rude pharmacy staff. I was treated well today but again, this needs to be addressed as I will be changing my pharmacy and snack stop to a different store. Walgreens is not the family friendly place it used to be in the pharmacy. Now the store will lose some regular customers due to this. It did not sit well with my wife and I.

The staff here is incredible. They always go the extra mile to help me when things go wonky with insurance or whatever, which is great because I have one expensive, annoying prescription that isn't always in stock. They seem genuinely compassionate and willing to help, which, given how soul-crushing it can be to work in healthcare and some version of customer service simultaneously, is a lovely surprise.My only two issues: sometimes communication between refilling prescriptions on the app vs the store is lacking, but I fully blame the app, not the employees. As much as I know it's annoying, I try to call in refills I know are important or last minute, because I don't trust the app with my expensive, annoying prescription.My other issue is it seems like they're understaffed. The people who are there are incredible, but it never seems like there's enough of them. Also, the hours of 9-6 M-F are very restrictive for people working a 9-5. So I have more of an issue with Walgreens as a company, and absolutely no issue with the wonderful, hardworking staff.

Lazy employees in pharmacy. They don't do their jobs and just tell you that you don't have insurance coverage. You check with your insurance company and they say Walgreens never checked coverage. It's embarrassing and insulting to be treated like that in front of the entire store. I hate this pharmacy and it is always a last resort to go to it.

Very informative! I went in 08/5/23 to get a prescription but didn’t get the name of the pharmacist, but I wanted to say that he was very thorough and explained everything I needed to know about the medication. I truly appreciate a professional who went beyond customer service, and made the experience such a breeze. The staff that evening was great!

I don't usually leave reviews. I know I should say nice things more often. Lol.It's graduation season and I came to Walgreens on George Washington Way to get my 60% off invitations and they almost let me walk out the door without envelopes. The photo manager literally knew what he was doing. He couldn't find the box so he just let me start to leave without them thankfully the checker at the front asked me if I got my envelopes , two days later I go back for a picture collage and they don't have the size poster board that they advertised on their website when I ordered so they just rolled it up and put it in a bag. When I asked, where is the heavy posterboard I paid for? They said oh we ran out. I still paid for it. The store is failing massively in the photo department. I wonder if the Walgreens on Gage Boulevard is any better?

The pharmacy techs here need to figure things out. They call you and tell you your prescription is ready and when you get there, it is not. They tell you it will be 2 hours, you can wait in a chair. Why did you call me then? And they need to learn how to speak to people on state medical. Don't talk down to them and embarrass them in front of a line of people. Very rude and I won't be back.

I called five times. Not only did your representative not pick up after I went through the machine, but they also did not call back as promised. And then when they did pick up, they were rude and unprofessional. So I got it sent to a different pharmacy and picked it up there because I have not the time nor patience to deal with someone who lost my prescription and then refused to get up off their bums and find it. Do not go here. Ever.

This is not okay to have people waiting close to an hour to speak with the pharmacy. I called the Safeway pharmacy up the street while still on hold and they answered in 30 seconds. And handled what I needed in two minutes. All while still on hold with these mouth breathers

I would give them 0 stars if possible. Waiting on hold with them is a joke, and 4 different times after waiting for over 20 minutes on hold, they disconnected the call on me. Up until there were 5 callers in line ahead of me and I could not speak to them prior to them closing. I had been trying to contact them for over 4 hours. Don't send prescriptions here, their customer service is non existent.

A+! kind staff, attentive— everything is always ready in a timely manner. Usually only require a 24 hour turn around for a prescription or refill. And they are very Covid conscious. Always wearing masks which is important to me
