I had water leaking into my car after it rained. I tried fixing it myself but I couldn't fix the problem. I decided to take it to Redline Automotive. I typically do my own car repairs but since I'm pressed for time and heard good reviews I thought I would give it a try. It was dropped off on a Sunday and by Monday afternoon it was fixed. I left a detailed letter stating where I thought the problem was and all the parts I removed were in the backseat. I removed the glovebox and 2 trim pieces to get to where the water was coming into the car. It took me about 10 minutes to remove. The total bill was $377 for 2 hours of diagnostic time and repair which I'm fine with. When I got into my car to leave, all the parts were still in the backseat that I had removed. I went back into the shop and talked to the mechanic and he told me "We didn't remove them." Mind you these guys advertise as a european car repair shop. The mechanic then gave me a song and dance about all the diagnosing they did. He did offer to put it back together but I couldn't wait. He made some excuse it may take him awhile to put it back together (30 minutes). It took me a whole ten minutes when I got home to put it back together. I guess they can afford to lose business over stuff like this because I won't be going back to them.

OH. MY. GOD. Expensive! Price gougers estimated $225/hour to work on my 1998 Chevy pickup (swapping with my Jeg's Starter and flexplate). They explained that usually they charge $165/hour but since they will be installing my parts they charge $225/hour! They were kind enough to explain it like this, "when you bring in your own parts it's a different rate just like when you bring your own eggs and bacon to dennys they don't make you an omelet for $3 its still the normal price and parts plus labor +lights on and doors open." Regardless, $165/hour is super expensive in itself. Their quote was $2,467.14 on 06/01/23. I almost had a heart attack and called my doctor who only charged me $125/hour.

My experience here has been amazing. Josh and his family business treat you like family. They fit me in both times I needed them for a seat belt buckle replacement and a modification to my frame for torklift tie downs that were improperly installed previously by someone else.I was impressed by their schedule flexibility, customer service, and pricing. I definitely would recommend coming here for any mechanical needs you may have.Thank you Josh.

My CR-V was assaulted in a parking lot, by Catalytic Convertor thieves, but they we're not completely successful. We brought the CR-V to Redline for repairs. These guys went above and beyond to help us out. They fixed the exhaust system at a reasonable price, given our situation. They were great to work with. Next time I need maintenance or repairs for one of my vehicles, I am coming back here!

Nice introduction to place - nice clean and friendly environment - Mechanics got the biggest chest of tools I ever seen - looking through the shop window.

My muffler was broken. Redline was very communicative during the process of getting my car fixed. The mechanic also noted various other small issues that should be looked at. He spoke with me in the phone and made good suggests for which repairs are more pressing and which could be postponed. I appreciate the honesty which he demonstrated. Going to a mechanic can always be a stressful situation because you may not know what is wrong or what the price may be to fix it. I highly recommend Redline to anyone. I'll be taking my car back whenever I have future issues.

I do not usually write reviews but I absolutely had to for Redline. This is the best auto shop I have ever worked with. Everyone there is incredibly knowledgeable, super friendly, and very honest. I was under a tight deadline ( on a cross country road trip) where I needed my car to be repaired pretty quickly and the team at Redline went above and beyond to have it done and ready for me in time. They had it diagnosed, repaired, and ready to go the next day after I brought it in within an hour of them opening. They were also very upfront and honest with their prices and the severity of the problems so I could budget out what was urgent and what could wait to be fixed. They really treat you like family and I cannot say enough good things about Redline. They saved my trip.

Redline quoted me $1600 for the work that needed to be done. I called the next shop and they estimated $700. Felt like they were trying to pull a fast one on me

As CRD Jeep Liberty enthusiasts we were excited to have Josh work on an inherited 2006 Liberty CRD. It was a vehicle torn from its owner by cancer and had lots of updates and repairs already installed. It just wasn't finished. We knew it was close but didn't really know where to begin. Something in the suspension was making loud popping noises, the engine light was on, and the cab smelled like exhaust. We received boxes of parts along with the vehicle and let it sit for a couple of years before we decided to seek out expert assistance. Many mechanics in our area didn't want to touch it. They especially didn't want to work with already purchased parts. We found Josh through LostJeep.com and then set up an appointment at Redline online. We made arrangements to drive from Olympia to Richland to drop off the Jeep using a car trailer over a weekend and dropped it off at the shop after hours. We were putting a lot of trust into this and were just hoping it would pay off considering we had never met anyone in person. The next business day we received a comprehensive report on all of the areas that needed attention to get this Jeep back out on the road. I have never seen a report so thorough! Complete with pictures for each area that needed work and an explanation of the work with copious notes. This helped ease any worries. Josh laid out a clear plan, gave us a reasonable time line, was willing to use some of the parts that came with the Jeep and set to work. When it was finished we made arrangements to pick it up. Josh and his family came in on a weekend so we could go over the work and pay him. The drive home was fantastic!!! It took the mountain passes in the snow like a champ!! This Jeep is running better than when is came off the production line. It has a new lease on life and we are so thrilled that we found someone who loves the CRDs as much as we do. The gas mileage now is phenomenal!!! Still needing to get it off road and on trail but that will come. Can't wait to have more adventures all thanks to Josh and Co.Services: Steering & suspension repair
