Recently shopped at Kohls.. Store has beautiful displays that beckon the shopper to at least “look.” Very clean store with Friendly associates available to help in most every Department.

Wouldn't honor company policy. Had shoes separate at soles after 2 months of purchase. They said couldn't exchange them because of wear. They were defective not destroyed. Went to another Kohls they exchanged them for exact same shoe ( all I wanted ) and were shocked this Kohls didn't honor their company policy. (180 days)

Very clean and organized. Associates were very helpful and friendly. As soon as an additional associate was needed at checkout there was one there immediately, without being summoned over an intercom. I found exactly what I was looking for and then some!

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I used to love this store, and it was our primary location to shop for clothes, gifts, etc. spanning several thousand dollars a year. We unfortunately timed our last purchase of $15 on the last day of the billing cycle after we had paid our bill in full. We inadvertently thought we had paid the balance since we didn’t receive the bill via our email. Fast forward 35 days, and I got a call from kohls that our payment for $15 was late, and they had added a $35 late charge. I called them and explained that in over 20 years, I had never had a late payment and never received this bill. They apologized profusely and removed the late charge. However, they reported the late payment which resulted in a 70 point hit to my credit score. I contacted them and again told them I didn’t receive the bill, but they disagreed and refused to make it right. In that 30 day window when the bill supposedly came, we received more than 50 marketing emails from kohls. We didn’t find the bill, but how is the average person supposed to weed through all of that junk? I am going to keep my card because of the length of credit, however, I don’t really intend to give kohls any more of our money (maybe a candy bar on my kohls card every 6 months just to keep it active). They used to be the best for customer service, but that has gone by the wayside. Coupons aren’t valid on most items in the store, the lines are horrendous, they removed more than half of their registers, and customer service is awful. This is one store that I’m okay with going out of business based on their decisions. This was over $15 from a 20 year loyal customer.

FYI - Today (9/28) I received a 30% off mailer (via USPS) with a valid date span of 9/15 – 9/24, four days after the last day of use. This is the second or third time that I have received one of these in the mail after the sale dates.Kohls Richland needs to be aware that these promotions are not being mailed in a timely manner. When most people no longer receive printed newspapers, sometimes these direct mailers are the only notice from retailers that a promotion is in effect.
