The parking here is HORRIBLE!!! I have to park blocks away for parking . If I could get out of my lease I would , it’s ridiculous.

7/3/24 update - I’m not one to leave bad reviews but…
My car was vandalized in the parking lot, my windshield was shattered/broken and I had to get it replaced which wasn’t cheap. It looked like an object was thrown or dropped on it. The person who did it didn’t leave a note or anything, which is pretty frustrating.
People leave messes in the trash room, stairs, and garage. I’m pretty sure dogs have peed on the stairs and I’ve even seen dog poop on the stairs. There‘s been broken glass scattered over the garage floor. People here don’t seem to really care about the messes they leave behind.
The parking situation is pretty bad too, luckily I get home from work early enough to get a spot, but if I have to leave again I will most likely be parking down the street.
Fire alarm for the building has gone off a few times too due to people either smoking or burning something and venting it into the hallway. One of those times I was home with my dog and he’s pretty timid, so the high pitched alarms and everyone coming down the stairs at once freaked him out pretty bad.
The apartments themselves are still really nice, but that’s kind of the only plus now ?♀️
Original review-
These apartments are great! Modern appliances, in-unit washer/dryer, tons of space, lots of natural light, convenient location. Being the first one to move into the apartment is definitely a plus since everything is new and clean. The office staff are super nice too. Although it took a while to get through the application/paperwork process, it was definitely worth it

Well the apartment itself is nice, I couldn't recommend living here if you have a car and you are getting a one bedroom. One bedroom apartments don't get a parking garage spot.
There's open parking reserved for people who live all that live here. One parking pass per apartment.
Parking lot remains full almost all the time, when I arrive home from work at 4:30. I am lucky as there is usually two or three spots left.
Get a two bedroom apt, you get garage parking which is nice which includes electric charging stations and your car is safe.
When I moved here there was street parking, but now there's 10 cars that don't move sometimes all the way up to the first person's driveway. So even that is limited availability.
If you don't have a car, and you take the bus to work This place is perfect. The transit center is very close.
Leasing management actually tries to help, they made the parking passes, they send out emails. They were very responsive with concerns and questions and it it seems like they actually are trying to make things better.
It was silly to build this place with not enough parking.
Outside of the company buying more property, or changing the parking garage requirements, maybe offer some one bedroom renters that as I see the parking garages still half empty. Maybe let more people in the garage on a first come first serve or seniority basis? I really can't see what else they can do.
*Responsive management
*Dogs welcome
*Playground and park close by
*downtown Renton
*Windows are portable AC friendly as there's no AC but there is heating in the apartment
*Really nice appliances, Whirlpool. Big Windows, modern look.
*Limited parking
all in all. It's a really nice apartment except for the parking situation.

This house has a parking problem, too few parking spaces. If you arrive later than 7 p.m. you won't find parking and you'll have to park on the street or two blocks from this house!

That is ridiculous. Was trying to contact the company almost for one week. Tons of messages and calls. The website shows confusing information. Have no idea what is available, because it depends on what time I am trying to get there and even what device.
I am not going to pay 100$ just for sending application for absent unit! No response, not clear what is going on with this company.
Interested in this complex but not sure if they are really doing their job in a right manner.

I recently moved into this apartment complex and everything was fine until more people started moving in. The parking spots are limited on a first come first serve and they only allow units with 2 bedroom 2 bathrooms to park in the garage. The garage is also small and has limited parking. I don't understand why they will build this complex with 50+ units and limited parking. We pay rent monthly but cant get guaranteed parking spot. That makes no sense…
Update 2 weeks later…
So watershed incorporated parking passes for each unit and it’s not really helping the situation at hand. I have to say, I'm extremely disappointed. The biggest issue? There is still, absolutely no parking available!! After a long, exhausting shift at work, the last thing I want to do is spend time searching for a parking spot. Instead, I end up having to park a block away and walk back to the building, risking my vehicle to get broken into like other cars have or sideswiped by oncoming traffic. This is incredibly inconvenient and frustrating. Parking shouldn't be this hard! If you value your time and sanity, look elsewhere. Watershed Apartments needs to seriously address this issue.

Maintenance responded quickly and solved the problem on second visit. He asked me to put my cats away because they were bothersome while he was trying to work the first Day he returned the next day so I did put the cats in the room he said he would be there in the morning around 10 am he notified me around 12:00 he was done and my grandson could release the cats. My sink was in working condition when I got home. He responded to my call right away by text message and I really appreciate the quick turnaround!! ☺️

The parking situation here is ridiculous. For almost 200 residents, there are only about 30 parking spaces, all on a first-come, first-served basis. Finding street parking is nearly impossible. Home Depot, right in front of the apartment, warned me they’ll tow my car if I park there at night. This is a huge problem with this place.

This is one of the worst apartments I've ever seen. Recently, the fire alarm went off for 35 minutes because someone on the 6th floor was barbecuing with their doors open, letting smoke into the hall. I heard this story from another resident, as I live on the 2nd floor, but the entire building, including my apartment, was subjected to the deafening alarm. I had to evacuate with my crying kids, and the experience was terrifying.
Additionally, the parking situation is a nightmare. It's first come, first served, and you're only allowed to park one car in the lot. Any additional cars have to be parked on the street. We're experiencing a lot of problems here.

i just moved here and i love my new apartment! everything brand new and fantastic, but i cannot give it 5 stars because of the parking situation. It’s truly ridiculous, every single time I come home there’s no parks and I can’t even use the garage either because of it’s “ reserved parking for 2 by 2 or 2 by 3 “ i wish they would give this a fix or try to include some better parking. I don’t know how they expected all of us to fit in this one small lot. If anything we should all have reserved parking spots. Other than the parking, the place is great.

Everyone was so nice and responsive. Made the process very easy for me.
Updated 6/1/24: Still love my new home. I have a great layout, perfect size for me. My view is amazing. My kitchen is huge, very spacious! Lots of natural light and updated interior. Only issue I have so far is the parking, the 2 bedrooms and up can park inside the garage and the one bedrooms can only park in the open lot which is first come first serve. So if people have multiple cars or guest over and they take the parking spots you have to try to find street parking which I don’t think is fair if I pay rent just like everyone else. Especially if I’m getting home late at night I don't want to have to park far down the street from my home. I spoke with the office and they said the lot should have enough space for everyone and said if I can’t find parking to park at Home Depot but then if my car gets towed who is going to pay for that? It’s tiring having to fight the good fight every night hoping I can find a spot or racing home right away to get one. My old complex we didn’t have assigned parking either but we did have parking stickers for the tenants only and guest would have to register their cars and couldn’t be there for more than 3 consecutive days so the tenants wouldn’t be affected. Overall love my apartment and the location but parking sucks big time. ?

The move in process was really easy and I love the fact that there's elevators . Also the neighbors here are nice and helpful. Very clean and modern facility. I really love our apartment and it is a prefect place to start.

I am not gonna lie. The application process is gonna be really tough and make you feel like crap. Especially when they have a lot of applications, they can't always get back to you right away. But when you finally get approved, it'll all be worth it.
We waited four months and thought about giving up many times. But now, I'm really grad that I didn't give up.
The management team is pleasant and professional. This apartment complex offers living spaces that are comparable to luxury apartments that cost over $3,000, but they are much more affordable.
