Gave birth last week and I just wanted to commend some of the most amazing staff in the birth center: Casey, Sheldon, and special shout out to Lori. You three are so wonderful in making my 2nd child's birth easy, peaceful, and somehow enjoyable. Thank you so much for everything you have done.

I was bitten by a dog on my hand and went to St. Annes Hospital was there 2 days and checked self out was so bad. My mom told me to go to Valley Medical and I'm so glad I did. They were great I couldn't have asked for better care. Even my husband and daughter loved it when they came to visit. I think they came more for the $5 visitor meal voucher. Lol

DO NOT COME HERE FOR A BLOOD DRAW! Their signage is very poor so it takes way too long to find the hospital's outpatient lab .... And once you do.... PSYCH!!!! THEY CLOSED THEIR LAB!!! (they tell you to go to LabCorp... See attached photo). So you have to go cruise past Narnia to find LabCorp.... And when you do... UW medicine does not tell LabCorp what kind of tests to run. So you need to call your Dr. and get them to fax your labs over (which they drag their feet on even if it's marked urgent). So yeah, they drop the ball you have to pick it up and fill the gaps and you're left sitting in a waiting room hoping someone at UW Med remembers to send a Fax. Honestly... GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.... It's ghetto out here.... And not in a good/fun way. It's like "we get paid whether we do our job or not so we don't care about you" kind of ghetto.

I got a deep cut on my finger, went to ER to
Stop the bleeding and take care the cut . Been waiting for 3 and a half hours. No one care … I saw a lots of nurses just walking in and out to talk and laugh together… don’t understand why they hiring these nurses here for what?! They seem not working much. The doc came and ask me in 1 minute and disappeared. We have to wait again … No one care . Until I came to them and ask them to leave. They let me wash the cut by myself in the bathroom and came to give me some glue for the cut . The hospital always said they have short staff.. but they should think about how and what the people doing on their jobs. Finally I went home after almost 4 hours waiting. Don’t know how much they will charge me and my insurance. Will see. So disappointed!

Get some maps for this place. It’s always too hard to find the right building and where to park and the buildings are hardly labeled so it’s really hard to find the right location for such a a big hospital. You can’t even Google map the correct sept because it’ll always take you to the main location.The initial experience is pretty bad because it’s so unorganized and difficult to navigate this hospital and really affects patient care. I’m sure there’s a good amount of patients that aren’t at their appts on time leading compromise in patient care.

I was admitted here for 2 weeks and I had some amazing nurses and Doctors. Thank you to the Nurses Auri, Tanya,Miles,JiJi, Yessina ,Keedlup,Melvin, Nicolle and Andrea you guys went above and beyond with your care for me. Thank you for all your hard work. Also doctors and physical therapist were amazing!

Was good once upon a time, now not do much. Good doctors, I had a great one at valley family care who left, are hard to find. As for some of their "speciality clinics" it all depends on the extreme luck of the draw. I have gone to 7 different ones, and 2 were good. The rest suffer from subpar doctors, especially the pulmonary clinic. I am leaving this entire mess if Valley Medical Center/UW/Harborview/etc for someone else. Apparently good medical care is becoming hard to find in king county, and this place isn't good. Save yourself, your family, your pets and go elsewhere....the Franciscan System might be better than here now.

Found out I had developed breast cancer. Caught early enough that I came thru with flying colors. I can’t “Thank the doctors & nurses enough” that helped me thru. They have been extremely caring & supportive. Valley Medical is a wonderful hospital that cares for their patients. ?

My sons been in valley since Feb 28th my first review not so good they took it down hmmm hes still here today March 23rd doctors amazing and 5th floor nurses by far the best. IcU was horrible nurses. But im thankful for Dr Wong helping my son.
