Worst place to live in.My partner and I moved in to Sunset View because of the affordability but that came with a cost. Both our cars got broken into multiple times and the leasing office did absolutely nothing about it. When we called the surveillance company that they have posted the surveillance company told us that they have no contract with our apartments; basically, the cameras are just there for show. The leasing office has towed our cars 4 times already, adding up close to $2,000 in fees we’ve had to pay because of their mistakes. I pay monthly fees to reserve our parking spots but we still get towed with no explanation, they’re just money hungry. The crime in the area is so high, I don’t feel safe here at all. Multiple gunshots throughout the week, homeless people sleeping in the laundry room.Maintenance is non existent for the apartment if it’s not building A, and the leasing office agents are extremely rude, never answer the phone or emails and simply don’t care for their paying residents.Horrible place to live in, a horrible experience and looking forward for this lease to terminate so we can get the hell out of here.If you’re contemplating moving here, don’t.

Upon moving into these apartments, the rent was much more affordable than many other places. Unfortunately, because the rent was more affordable it came with many issues throughout the stay here. When I first moved into these apartments there were many minor issues with the apartment. A work order was created to address the issues since maintenance did not come, more on this later. They have gone through 3 different managers and more leasing agents/ maintenance workers since September 2021. A lot of tenants treat the apartments as thrash which helps to make the environment more deteriorating. Some of the issues on the work order were addressed after months while it took over a year for someone to put up the balcony screen door since the parts apparently never came in. Water was being shut off regularly when first moved in, parking is horrible, people breaking into cars left and right, tenants honking any time of the night to get cars to move out of reserved spots, gun shots regularly, people congregating in the parking lot that do not live there. Cops always present, stolen/ abandoned cars left and drywall falling from the ceilings outside. The dog area has poop everywhere since no one cleans up. Walls are very thin so it is easy to hear when people are coming/ leaving, talking in stairwell, blasting music or revving cars/ motorcycles. There was a guy working on his corvette daily and revving loudly for most parts of the day and the leasing office was not able to do anything. The final month and a half before leaving, a new family moved in(D building on 3rd floor, furthest apartment to building E. This family has a child that stomps and jumps on a cheap bed that makes a lot of noise from 12am to about 3am in the morning. Leasing office could not do anything since it was a child creating the noise. Everyone there is for the cheap rent and that is the sole reason why these apartments are still leasing. If you want your peace, look elsewhere. I'm glad to have left and would certainly not recommend this property or property management to anybody.

The absalute worst place ever. My partner & I lived here for two years, we should have second guessed our decision when they lied to us on the walk through, telling us that all the apartments are painted before new tenant's move in. So I asked them why I could see the shadow of where the prior tenant's had there couch and there pictures. That should have been our red flag but we gave them the benifit of the doubt. The day we moved in we quickly realized that there qas a strong odor of what we are not sure but it tool us months to get rid of that smell. Sadly this was the updated unit. Shortly after this we had a couple days of down pour, as we are sitting in the liveing room talking we heard water. As we stand up and look around we find a water fall of rain that was pouring .onto our counter through the ceiling. I don't recall them even responding or comeing out to see what was going g on or why that had happened. Soon after this I realized there was a inch or an inch and a half gap between the island and the counter top. It wasn't very long after that our washer and dryer went out, we went without one for 4 months.we were told to ise the community washer and dryer. And of course those take your money because they end up getting tampered with and still till this day is still defaced and unusable. This brings me to the constant drug use that is used in the utility rooms which sets off the fire alarms constantly, and nothing being done about it. Till this day you can walk in and find burnt up foils, used condoms, and who knows what else. This leads me right into the abslute unsafe the property in itself is for you will always find cars with busted out windows all the time. Let's not forget the guy that was physically beating his girlfriend in the hall leading to our door. I have personally had to mace somebody in my own defense, and I was a tenant that didn't involve myself with even getting to know my neighbors here. Gun shots 2/3 times a week, there was a bomb lit right behind my car last week. The pest control fee where does that go? The entire 2 years we were there never seen pest control out spraying ever. Rat infestation, not to mention the collection of dead bugs that were gathered in out kitchen light fixture. The shower drain never drained correctly the toilet would back up at the drop of a square piece of toilet paper. Our rug was warn down and matted when we moved in and outdated. This last winter everything was covered like an ice rink they never came out and salted the roads nor did they maintain the pathways, yet I personally helped a little girl who slipped and put here teeth through her upper lip and was scared to death because she couldn't get anywhere as she held on to a bush crying and upset because she couldn't move. A bunch of us tenant's sat out there with shovels clearing some sort of path way just to get anywhere. The office never answers the phone and then when they do they blow off your concerns like you don't matter. And let's not forget to mention that when we moved I patched up any nail holes from pictures the were hung to make there job easier and shampooed the carpets very deeply left the apartment in better shape then we got it in and they are charging us $1200.00 dollars for cleaning fees and double charging us for valet garbage ect. Are you serious. And when they are questioned about it they emptied that they now have to paint the apartment because I spakled the holes that were put there. ($360.00) isn't pai ting the apartment a mandatory job after a tenant leaves? Not spot painting. And what about the amenities they charge $300.00 a month for a weight room we can never access a pool that is never useable security to a parking lot with no lighting, oh ya and don't ever call security because they will never show up. This place is a straight rip off, they are frauds. I would put the homeless I to these apartments. Don't waste your money here. My advice.... RUN AWAY!!!

From the very first time I walked in the office I immediately got a good vibe from both of the ladies working there , Romina & Jhanae. They both were very nice & super helpful & answered all the questions I had. Romina made my moved in so easy like it didn’t even felt like it was my very first time since Romina was there every step of the way. Also I had some thing that needed maintenance work & Romina made sure it was taken care of the it the same week. I am very happy I moved here it’s great place for my dog as well , since they have 3 dog parks, & dog friendly . If you are looking for a place to go Sunset it the way! Thank y’all so much.
