I enjoyed bringing my son to this daycare. He was part time from about 9 months to about 16 months. He seemed to love the toddler room there! The staff care about the kids and seem to enjoy working there. The doors are secure to get in. The rooms were always very clean. They had regular arts and crafts, even in the infant room! If there was ever an issue or misunderstanding, we were able to talk about it with Ms. Laurie and it was always resolved quickly, professionally, and fairly (i.e. billing, vacation and holidays, going up to the toddler room, etc). The rates are reasonable and competitive for the value of care they provide. Had we not moved to another area, we would have stayed there quite a bit longer.

My grandson DJ a has been going here since he was 6 months old. Today he is 5 and graduated preschool from Spring Glen. Miss Lori & Miss MoMo put so much effort into this day. The kids had graduation pictures a few weeks ago, they worked on songs, speaking about themselves. They gave diplomas , bought a graduation Cap for each child, they all let balloons go in the sky and so much more. This daycare has became our family. The kids are well watched, played with and continually learning.Dj still hugs Miss Katelyn who was his teacher last year. He absolutely loves her too.Thank you for investing in our kids, we truly appreciate all you put into the kids

My oldest daughter has come to the Renton center since she was 9 months and my youngest daughter has come since she was 6-8 weeks old. My kids are growing up here. They love their teachers, Miss Kia and Miss Caitlyn. Everyday my youngest daughter comes home yelling "I MADE MISS KIA HAPPY" and sometimes refuses to leave the daycare because she wants to stay with her friends and teacher. Lori has always been a help at the front office with anything I needed and made me feel comfortable with leaving my kids so I can work. COVID has been rough, but they are doing the best that any daycare could.

IM SO HAPPY I COPIED MY LAST REVIEW. IM REPOSTING SINCE THE OWNER REMOVED THE FIRST ONE AND I WILL KEEP POSTING FOR EVERY PARENT TO SEE... As a former childcare worker/teacher I 110% understand the day-to-day struggles of working in childcare. However, as a mother the care that my son received at this daycare was HIGHLY UNACCEPTABLE. The only reason that I placed my son in this daycare was out of sheer convenience. I work very close to the daycare. I enrolled my son when he was about 7 months old. I started noticing little bruises here and there when I picked him up from daycare. I initially didn't say anything until I saw my son had a small, busted lip, which I mentioned to one of the teachers, who "wasn't around when it happened" she said she would follow up because there wasn't a report made when I came to pick him up. A couple weeks later I noticed a red knot on his head, it looked almost like someone snatched his hair out his head. He has a bald spot which I took photos of then later emailed Lorie (the director) about my findings and addressed that again, no one knew what happened to my son nor was there a report made. I also mentioned the conditions of my son's nose when I would pick him up, which was utterly disgusting. Lorie was really great at responding to my concerns. At the time I felt she handled my concerns appropriately. On June 16th I received a call from Lorie saying that my son was alright but had "face planted" the concrete outside and is bleeding but they were able to stop the bleeding. So of course, as a mother that call made my heart drop. I rush over to get my son, only to see him still outside, he appeared to be dizzy, his nose was bleeding, he had a huge knot on the right side of his head and cuts and scrapes all over his face. Which of course infuriated me! I took him home to clean him up because apparently, they don't have a first aid kit handy with ointment or alcohol swabs to clean the cuts. IMMEDIATELY my son started throwing up and acting dizzy. I called the daycare to get more info and asked if he lost consciousness at all. They said that he was walking by himself and fell face first on the concrete. Being that my son is still considered a "non-walker" he should've NEVER been left to walk on concrete by himself. He just started walking someone should've either put him in a stroller or held his hand rather than letting him go off on his own. For now, I'll take their word because I wasn't there but as a mother I know and have seen my son fall many times. He always places his hands out in front of him when he knows he going to fall forward. So, I don't believe the daycare is telling the full truth as to how my son received his bruises and the cameras don't work either so again no real way to know the truth. I spent the next hour monitoring my son which he had thrown up 3 times, so I ended up taking him to the hospital to find out that my 1-year-old son has a head concussion. We spent the next 3 hours in the hospital being monitored and ended up needing a cat scan to rule out any other possibilities to the vomiting. The doctors confirmed it was from the concussion. I reached out to Lorie and let her know what they said. She then provided me with an incident report and apologized. I was able to speak with my son's teacher to get more information about the incident she was very apologetic but also mentioned a few things I will not repeat out of fear of her losing her job. All in all, I don't believe that spring glen is a safe place for any child. Being that my son was injured on 3 separate occasions, the lack of reporting and staff, the constant teacher to child ratio is never in place here. Which IS CHILD NEGLECT and the reason my son has been injured to the point of a concussion. I called Cps and made a report. they are investigating. I spoke to a couple other parents who said they removed their kids for the very same reason. It's sad that my son was a victim of situation that could've been

My son went here as part of my company's back up care option. We picked this location because it was close. What a mistake, my son who is 3 went here and he was there for 4 hours only. In this 4 hours he was supposedly pushed down outside by another kid and apparently no one saw anything. Which is absolutely pathetic, your glorified daycare is unable to care for kids. And the lazy poor excuses for human beings that work there just sit there and you can tell they just don't care. This place is like jail for kids, they'll make sure your kids don't leave the property and that's it.

Seriously! Leaf blowing at 10pm at night when there is an apartment behind you!!! People do have to work early in the mornings. Do that stuff during the day or at least before 8pm.

This is our second post as it was requested by Spring Glen we remove our first one. Freedom of speech act though allows us to post our thoughts and feelings during the time our daughter was attending Spring Glen. Our daughter attended Spring Glen for 5 months. We really liked the infant room and the teachers in that room. We felt like over all they took good care of her. Based off of the daily reports we would get, her nap schedule was off from what it would be at home but other than that there were really no issues. However, during the time she was there she seemed to get a diaper rash pretty regularly. After our Daughter turned 1 we had to get a doctors note stating she could stay in the infant room because she wasn’t walking and still drinking from a bottle and told we would still have to pay infant price, which we understood. The last couple of months she seemed to be spending the majority of her time in the toddler room which was fine except according to the daily reports we were given she wasn’t being fed as often which concerned us.On one day she in the toddler room she was scratched pretty good by another child over a toy which we get, those things happen with small kids. However, we weren’t notified at the time of the incident. We found out when we picked her up and saw the scratches. After talking with the director it was mutually agreed we should have been contacted when it happened.

Ms. Lori and the staff at Spring Glen provided a safe and nurturing environment for our children for before and after school care. The extended hours are absolutely wonderful for working parents.

This business received registration fee but later denied to accept my child in the daycare and at the same time they refused to return back the registration fee!!. Their agreement is a hoax.
