Everything is ok but the deli department. The two ladies work there have zero customer service or respect for customers. Also they don’t wear gloves when they work with food especially the old lady. Please take care of that and make them aware of how important to respect customers and wear gloves.
As of 2/20/2024 I want to add something. Western union services always down in Safeway Sunset Blvd and the lady over there always not happy to help. we deserve to have the western union service available in safeway especially it’s working everywhere else. I didn’t believe the lady when she said the system is down and I visited Walgreen less than a mile away and the system was working fine . Please take care of this issue.

The location of this safeway is great, its right next to the library and other shops and pretty close to my home.Its very clean and the hot food always smells amazing. The staff is usually polite and will help you if you need it. Their sellection of products is standard for a safeway of this size, which brings me to my biggest complaint.Its way too small, if you're not going at an unusal hour its probably packed full of people and you're squeezing by others to just go down an isle.

If you have a few things to get on the way home. it's perfect for that.i found everything I needed in twenty minutes. I spent less than 70$, on my weeks groceries (single). I would recommend bringing in your cart from the parking lot. As few were available.Quick cashier's to check you out. I think an ? booth needs to be with the singles beers stock. Saw a couple of underage friends looking at them.

a few months ago and this particular store bought a Vanilla visa card which had NO secure number at all, neither safeway and vanilla card customer service will help. I can say that vanilla card is a scam, they ask me for very personal info. safeway told me they will help but they have NOT, they told me that they KNOW about the problems of the gift cards but yet they still selling them. it "was" just $100 for many people might not be much but for me it is. please if you planning to buy gift cards think twice.

I went in early Sun morning to get frozen berries and pizzas for a party. Julie was extremely helpful not only in the frozen department , she also helped me in the grocery and dairy department. Julie provided the best customer service I've had in a long time. Thanks Julie I'll be back to shop there again

Everything was fine and dandy until after I paid for my groceries, I didn't get her name, but a black lady with curly hair, working self check out screamed at me and my wife for absolutely no reason and accused us of stealing. That lady was a real jerkI will be calling her manager definitely. I don't take kindly to anyone screaming at my family for absolutely nothing. I don't care how bad your day was, you don't scream at people and accuse them of stealing just because you felt like it.I moved here from out of state and didn't realize I moved to such an extremely low class ghetto area.I don't know if stealing is normal here, but we don't do that where I'm from. I guess that's the norm here and that's why she expected that of us.

The night manager is just disrespectful rude and just plain mean can't count money back to customers grabs money from your hand she needs to be fired or transferred corporate needs to address this issue she is out of control.

I would like to shout out Karen at this location. My family and I have been struggling and staying in and out of hotels and our car for the past 4 months, tonight we went to get a few groceries however we went overboard a little bit and as we started to take items off she stopped us and said that she would pay for the rest of the remaining items. This is the most sweetest thing anyone has done for my family. I would definitely recommend this location if you're in Renton, Wa.
