I have had personal issues, as I was slowly dying for 3 years. I have had issues with memory because of this but recently survived the culprit. Ivan Wong, through the illness, has always been very kind, patient, and pleasant to work with. He is a great asset to this safeway pharmacy branch.

Rough but people have been very thoughtful and helpful, within this community. Surprisingly overpriced, some reservations due to crime ridden area and unclean restrooms, making me question handling of food on its journey etc…
Employees are helpful when asked and some look just exhausted-hard workers surely. Homeless and other people walking the parking lot looking in cars. So much despair, sorrow and desperation it’s scary and sad. It’s a lot going on at times. I don’t recommend going at night, if avoidable. It would probably be fine but taking a friend is best or going to another location, like the one on 4th in the Renton Highlands. Shocking high prices-like around $9 for Primal Kitchen salad dressing-that’s for one bottle!! Unacceptable Safeway…this location has prices like we are in the Hamptons vs. Downtown Renton, no one wants to pay $9 for salad dressing! I find that in places that need / could benefit from reduced pricing, Safeway prices are higher than others.

There's a store within the store that is partly blocked off with a separate cashier & line to buy 20% of the stores' regular inventory. Why make us stand in another line & get our wallet out an additional time?! This is time wasting & rude. I'll go elsewhere! Absolutely ridiculous! I got cough drops for my cold & the worker there yells at me because I was walking toward the regular cashier w/my full cart of groceries. You expect me to wait in a separate line to buy my cough drops & then go stand in another line to buy my cart full?! NO WAY!! Mismanaged & waste of funds to inefficiently inconvenience people. BAD IDEA!

The safeway itself is fine, but I have always gotten atittude from the Deli staff whenever i ask them to make anything, and then this morning had one outright tell me she didnt have all the ingrediants for a burrito when i can see them right infront of her. Overall not impressed, and this negative enthusiasm never really goes away, making me think its starting in managment. None of the other safeway deli's give any grief when asking for help. Not sure why its so prominent here.
