Both of our kids have been in Petrovitsky KinderCare since they turned 1 year old. We have been with them for about 4 years now and we couldn’t rely in another place to care for our precious sons. They are really reliable, helped us go through COVID years like champs! The teachers are professional and caring. There are full time teachers and then the wonderful assistants. There is an environment of support among staff. We communicate via text or email, I see pictures everyday of what is happening in the classroom and curriculum updates every month. They also have summer camps and run fun activities for kids. Good learning and fun for the kids. Kudos to: Director Tammy Johnson for a great staff, Tara who is always helping parents and staff. Ms. Rainjiel, Ms. Marissa, Ms. Katie, Ms. Monica, and all the staff. Thank you for all you do!

We had our son here from 5 months old until just before K (pulled out due to COVID and he started Kindergarten before we could send him back). He loved it there and thrived, now as a 3rd grader he has had a lot of academic success that we think has been built upon the early learning he received here. Our daughter started later than we initially planned (again due to COVID) but has been loving it here since she started at 18 months (now almost pre-K). I know that some programs our older child received are not currently offered due to staffing, but we appreciate the quality education and genuine caring our daughter receives, often from the same staff who our son adored during his time here. We are thankful for the support and knowledge that our kids are well cared for here, and will miss you all once our littlest starts K!

This center has been a blessing to our family!!! I had a horrible experience at the last daycare we attended. One of the good staff told me she was leaving and coming to this daycare. She told me to reach out and see if we could attend here. First call they were booked to the max and didn’t have any room. I called back again about a month later and Tammy told me she would see if she could make anything work. The next day she called me back and said she has a space for my son starting the next day!!!! I cried!!! I was 8 months pregnant and desperately needed to move him from the previous daycare center. They also made sure to make space for my daughter to start when she was ready!!! Tammy and Tara are ALWAYS kind, responsive and welcoming. I have never felt uneasy or uncomfortable with any of the care that has been provided. I would highly recommend all families to come here! You won’t be disappointed. We have been here for over a year now as my daughter is now 14 months old! The center is always clean and the potty training is great. We had such a wonderful experience with the support for our sons potty training! Thanks so much to the team for providing outstanding service and love to boot!!! ❤️❤️❤️ This place is like family!

The absolute worst daycare my daughter has ever attended. Please do not trust these people with your little ones! My daughter started at Kindercare February 1st 2024, from the time she started I felt uneasy about the center. The directors are not welcoming at all. In February my daughter came home with scratches all over her face. No incident report was made, no contact was made. I had to bring attention to the teacher and director of my concerns. I tried not to overreact about it and let it go with the request I be notified from here on out. 03/20 my daughter came come with a bite mark on her forearm and a bruise on her arm. No incident report was made, no contact was attempted. Her father picked her up that day and her teacher(s) acted as if she had a perfect day and nothing happened. They made it home where I noticed that she had the bite and bruise. I called up to the center and the director didn’t even know what was going on ( in my opinion when ANY child of hurt at your center, especially something that caused major bruising you should already be aware!!) she called me ten minutes later and gave some story about why another child bit my daughter and the icing on the cake she says they did have a incident report but the teacher was too busy changing another child to give it to me. WHAT??? that’s insane to me because both teachers should be on the same page and that should’ve been the first thing they mentioned to dad at pick up. Kids will be kids, I get that. But the fact that no one called me to let me know what happened. They just tried to ice it and she refused so they let her go about her day. SHES ONE ALMOST TWO OF COURSE SHE REFUSED ICE. this whole experience has been the worst experience I’ve had with a childcare provider. Her old daycare would never!!

I’ll always remember the first day we dropped off our daughter at this Kindercare. She was 3 months old and I had to go back to work…she gave us the biggest frown when I handed her over to the teacher in the infant room, it broke my heart. But we got pictures real time and updates throughout the day. It assured us she was fine. And when we picked her up she was a happy baby.I gained a lot of confidence with Kindercare through their daily, real time messages. They also took so many pics. I was missing out by not being there but they took pics almost everyday, so it didn’t feeel like I was missing out on what her day was like.I also loved the ability to communicate immediately with staff and the director via the app. As first time parents they helped us with her many leaps, growth spurts, and development. She had more books and toys than at home. She had good socialization with other kids and teachers. She’s a very good eater because they provide a great variety of food day in and out. They made us feel like part of a family. Leaving Kindercare was the hardest part about leaving Washington. Not all daycares are equal, but this one sets the bar high.

I have nothing but positive things to say about the Petrovisky KinderCare. We have been here for almost a year to the day. My son started out in the infant room and has since moved up to the next class. We were looking for last minute childcare at a center since we had a bad experience with an in home daycare. Thankfully the director, Tammy, had a spot open up that we were able to take for our son. During our initial meeting to see if this location was a good fit, Tammy made us feel comfortable, heard and provided us with years of knowledge and expertise. After that initial meeting, we immediately knew that this KinderCare was going to be a good fit for our son. Fast forward to a year later and I am so happy with our decision. I have never once questioned the safety of our child, unlike when we were in the in-home. The staff has been so incredibly nice and sometimes I find myself spending more time than I should at pickup and drop off because they are just friendly and easy to have conversation with. I know my son is safe, loved and well taken care of while at this KinderCare. In addition, you can't beat the price for the area. The increase from the in-home we were in to this center is priceless. Worth every penny. Thank you for being his home away from home.

We had an amazing experience with the KinderCare on Petrovitsky. Our 4 year old had never been away from home, and it was time for me to return to work! The KinderCare team was there to support the BOTH of us as we transitioned our son into their care. I felt their care was thoughtful and their team was an open book when it came to communication. I was so impressed. Over time, our son great to love visiting his daycare teachers and friends. His confidence in leaving momma grew each day, and he was excited to come home and share stories of his interactions and activities. I personally appreciated the app that KinderCare uses to communication pictures and messages - it was so fun to get little snapshots into my son's rich days there. We recently moved out of the area and I was genuinely distressed to be leaving this daycare - we just felt so at home. My thanks to Tami, Miss Marisa and Miss Nicole for making this a home away from home!!

We have had our son here for over a year and couldn't be happier. Tammy is a great Director with excellent communication about what is happening at school, as well as with responding to emails and phone calls. Tara is the assistant director who seems to be everywhere at once and she's always very patient and helpful. Our son loves all the teachers, and they are all very kind, generous, patient and loving, and it seems like every child that walks (or is carried) through those doors, loves it.

Our toddler has been attending here for the last seven months. We’ve had a positive experience and both his classroom teachers are awesome. I see a good mix of structured and unstructured play as well as outdoor time (weather permitting). I feel his teachers work hard and care about their students. There appears to be a core group of teachers that help each other and work well together. The teachers also are usually graceful about changing our son’s perfectly timed “leaving daycare poo”. Like many daycares, they recently went through being thinly staffed but have been able to hire and seem to be growing back to normal staffing well. The reasons for four instead of five stars are: I’m a hard grader, our old daycare offered more extras like soccer and parents night/day out, and there is a little room for improvement on classroom change communication. Overall it’s been a an amazingly easy transition for our toddler.

Our son joined this KinderCare center right when he turned 5 months old. Prior to joining KinderCare we had a spot at an in home daycare that ended up having some red flags and we knew we needed to get him out of there. Unfortunately the infant spots at KinderCare are normally booked well in advance but by some miracle, we were able to get a spot after having been on the waitlist. Getting a spot at this daycare has been the biggest blessing. All of the infant teachers are now family. I have peace of mind knowing my baby is in excellent hands while I am at work and my son loves being there. In the few months we have been there my son has developed and learned so much. I can say wholeheartedly that I trust this KinderCare to take care of my baby.

This daycare is a disgrace! If I could have given it 0 stars I would have. The place is unsafe and disgusting. The roof is collapsing, kids are CONSTANTLY sick, management is a joke, and they don't treat the kids well. Diaper rash was constant from them not wiping them well enough. Prescribed medication was not given as directed. Wasn't even allowed to bring a cup for water. I wouldn't recommend!! The health department as well as cps will be getting a call.

They truly care about the kids there, have a fond and positive experience with them! Give them a chance and I highly doubt you'll be let down!

We have had a great experience. The teachers and administrators all care about the children and they seem to know them very well. Great communication with parents.

My son has been going there for more than 6 months and he seems to like it. My son loves his teachers. They have two toddler classes - A and B. A for kids under 2 and B for kids above 2. They have plenty fun activities for kids, involving outdoor playtime, painting etc.Security wise this place is good. Check-in check-out is automated and front door requires security code.I wish office staff was little proactive and considerate. When we started here, it took us some time to get the information out from the front desk - holiday calendar for instance. Also there is different fee based on number of days as per the website but office folks were misinformed (when we took our son out for one month vacation and got him re-entered we saw the change in fee).Office folks were, however, considerate when we asked for fee relaxation for one month vacation. They got us out of the system and then asked us to reapply with future joining date to hold the seat until we are out for vacation for just 125 administration fee that you have to pay at the time of filling the new application.Overall pretty good place for kids.

My son loves his teachers at KinderCare. He's been attending this center since he was 11 months. He's bonded with all the teachers and has made lots of friends. The ONLY reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is their hours. It would be so much easier logistically if they opened at 5:30am instead of 6am.
