This isn’t my regular pet store, but one I stop by pretty regularly for a few things here and there. Normally everyone is polite and helpful and it’s a peaceful store. Today I was surprised because 2 employees were working, one of whom had no idea about stock and product and the other who was extremely rude- even to the point of talking down to the other employee when they looked for stock. She barely looked at me through the whole interaction and was extremely condescending when directing me towards a product even though she just vaguely pointed. When I accidentally gave the wrong loyalty number because I changed phone numbers recently she rolled her eyes at me which is just unnecessary. I work in customer service and if this is how you train your employees to treat customers it’s frankly unacceptable. I probably won’t be coming back for a bit.

The cashier was nice and helpful. The selection is great. I didn’t appreciate some old lady running from the back, out of nowhere, to pretend to look for something just based on my presence.

This is my go-to pet store. They carry quality cat food, treats and products in general. Their customer service is amazing---that's something customers don't often get anymore!

We took our dog here a few times to be groomed. No problems. The last time was the last visit because they said our dog was difficult to groom so they charged us an extra $10. He's never been difficult so we wondered if someone who works there was being to harsh to him. Won't be back!

Regarding my former review, Renton Highlands store is much improved and all employees are helpful and obviously care about animals and pets! Recommend. A little pricier than other larger chains but I like the smaller and cozier feel, I feel like the employees are a little more attentive and helpful than other stores.
